  1. Ha, there's one of those new "gentrifying" apartment buildings everyone hates in the background.
  2. It's cop lore that the night after you kill someone on the job, you'll have the best sex of your life. I wonder if that's true, or if she's pissed at him for getting insta-fired?
  3. Here's a profile of the killer's wife, a former Mrs. Minnesota contestant, who says "Under all that unifiorm he's a big softie." Yeah. https://i1.wp.com/www.twincities.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/jmp-005-0010-mrs-minnesota.jpg?w=810&crop=0%2C0px%2C100%2C9999px&ssl=1 https://www.twincities.com/2018/06/02/refugee-who-was-shamed-for-her-looks-as-a-child-is-vying-to-be-the-first-hmong-mrs-minnesota/
  4. That combined with the fact that George Floyd wasn't even officer Chauvin's first kill, and the fact that the officer had been the subject of about a half dozen complaints makes the connection more relevant, IMO.
  5. Surprised this hasn't been on here, but supposedly Derek Chauvin, the officer in question, was front and center at the Minneapolis Trump rally where dozens of officers wore "Cops for Trump" shirts because they were not allowed to show up in uniform. People are claiming that's him to the left of the older blond lady.
  6. I think it was after he became an announcer, but was referring to his playing days.
  7. Wasn't Steve Sax the "I had to check to see if me wallet was still there" after being around several players speaking Spanish guy?
  8. At 96,582 deaths in the US right now, it looks like we'll fall just short of being able to fill DKR by Memorial Day. Maybe offer some $5 seats at Randall's?
  9. From living in that area a while I could see that, but probably the other way around from what you might have been thinking. People from the city are much less likely to have crazy accents than the bridge and tunnel crowd.
  10. Aggy seems to be considered a more "oily" program that UT in the national media. Is that borne out in reality?
  11. That's what they would like you to think. Didn't have anything to do with their weak food...Nope. The bar was always full at night, but their dining room was a ghost town. Too bad, their brunch was legitimately very good, at least before it went to a buffet.

  13. The timelines for alternative football leagues sure seems to be collapsing. Someday , we'll have a well-publicized league collapse without playing a down. Ultimately, we'll have a league shut down during the press conference announcing its launch.
  14. Did you get it tailored to better show off your physique?
  15. Bonus points for going on the air with nice looking flight attendant to propose her employment insurance idea. https://www.msnbc.com/the-last-word/watch/rep-porter-sara-nelson-propose-idea-to-keep-more-workers-employed-8181408568
  16. Maybe if they just play MAC games it will be safe.
  17. OT, but watch, about 10 law schools are going to close.
  18. Over/under 1 million for Austin?
  19. Fuuuu...Thanks to yesterday's Spring Break shenanigans, 78705 (campus) is now up to 31 cases in the new Travis County Report. 305 cases now is Travis County. https://www.statesman.com/news/20200317/coronavirus-in-travis-county-confirmed-cases-climb-to-305-3rd-death-reported
  20. According to the Statesman, Blanco County just reported its first case. Now how many Counties don't need that big city regulation, Governor? https://www.statesman.com/news/20200323/blanco-county-reports-first-case-of-covid-19
