  1. The Theranos of higher ed would have to be the InfiniLaw chain of for-profit law schools that had low admissions standards, low bar passage rates, and unreal debt loads by many students. Also, the ITT Tech-type schools that seemingly rely on the least savvy students just to stay in business.
  2. No thread, but Illinois is hanging tough with Pedo State. 21-14 PSU, but Ill has the ball at the end of the 1st half.
  3. Ballgame. UCF looks to be picking up where they left off. Austin will be in UCF territory on the imperialism map at the end of the regular season.
  4. So, does the way this game is going mean that USC sucks?
  5. Especially this one: https://twitter.com/RedCupRebellion/status/1041368127207026688
  6. Here's this week. Ole Miss, Auburn, Wiscy and Nebraska (No FSU?). https://www.rollbamaroll.com/2018/9/18/17872262/nsfw-its-meltdown-time-week-3-alabama-ole-miss-auburn-wisconsin-nebraska-meltdown-thread
  7. Oddly, enough, if Tulsa beats Temple this Thursday, Austin will be in Tulsa territory..
  8. Didn't want to start a thread for this, but I'm pretty sure none of these teams have any land. Check out #8. http://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/page/bottom091818/bottom-10-florida-state-big-ten-heading-wrong-direction
  9. This years' Bills are going end many football careers. At least his ended voluntarily.
  10. USC D is yelling at each other now.
  11. I don't know, man...
  12. With FSU losing to Syracuse 30-7 today, and the odd history of how fast Jimbo left town when he got the aggy job, he must have known the Noles were going to be awful this year.
  13. Wow, and dude even has New Jersey in his avatar and handle.
  14. The crazy thing is how bad Rutgers is in all the other Big 10 sports. The only thing they're good at is women's hoops.
  15. Slightly off topic, remember when FSU was playing for the MNC seemingly every year, often against Nebraska? They're losing 20-0 to Syracuse right now.
  16. I didn't realize they expanded the field to 68 teams.
  17. Of the game. If they can't rally, the rest of the season could be ultra bleak.
  18. The second half will definitely be a huge test of Corn's character
  19. When Nebraska fumbles, they really fumble. They caught a huge break there. BTW, Troy's helmets are slick AF.
  20. So, ol' Brett may have been a bit rapey: https://www.newyorker.com/news/news-desk/a-sexual-misconduct-allegation-against-the-supreme-court-nominee-brett-kavanaugh-stirs-tension-among-democrats-in-congress On Thursday, Senate Democrats disclosed that they had referred a complaint regarding President Trump’s Supreme Court nominee, Judge Brett Kavanaugh, to the F.B.I. for investigation. The complaint came from a woman who accused Kavanaugh of sexual misconduct when they were both in high school, more than thirty years ago. The woman, who has asked not to be identified, first approached Democratic lawmakers in July, shortly after Trump nominated Kavanaugh. The allegation dates back to the early nineteen-eighties, when Kavanaugh was a high-school student at Georgetown Preparatory School, in Bethesda, Maryland, and the woman attended a nearby high school. In the letter, the woman alleged that, during an encounter at a party, Kavanaugh held her down, and that he attempted to force himself on her. She claimed in the letter that Kavanaugh and a classmate of his, both of whom had been drinking, turned up music that was playing in the room to conceal the sound of her protests, and that Kavanaugh covered her mouth with his hand. She was able to free herself. Although the alleged incident took place decades ago and the three individuals involved were minors, the woman said that the memory had been a source of ongoing distress for her, and that she had sought psychological treatment as a result. In a statement, Kavanaugh said, “I categorically and unequivocally deny this allegation. I did not do this back in high school or at any time.” Kavanaugh’s classmate said of the woman’s allegation, “I have no recollection of that.” The woman declined a request for an interview. In recent months, the woman had told friends that Kavanaugh’s nomination had revived the pain of the memory, and that she was grappling with whether to go public with her story. She contacted her congresswoman, Anna Eshoo, a Democrat, sending her a letter describing her allegation. (When reached for comment, a spokesperson for Eshoo’s office cited a confidentiality policy regarding constituent services and declined to comment further on the matter.)
  21. I wonder if Crabtree has gotten his chain snatched yet on the streets of Baltimore.
  22. In the only night game involving FBS teams, Utah State is beating FCS Tennessee Tech 45-6 at the half. Not on any national TV as far as I can tell.
