  1. I believe the Church is still alive and will not be killed. That is not to say that the Church is not dead in most congregations in America. Most individuals claiming Christianity today in America want no part of seeking to be the least for the benefit of others. Christ’s church has been redefined by most clergy, not lost and much, much, much smaller.
  2. Yes but they can tell all their dumbass friends back home they were there. MAGA
  3. I guess it depends on just how much you value freedom from discrimination, equal justice, and love and care for all individuals.
  4. If it takes a Trump, Lindsey will be a Trump. He thinks he is closer than ever as the next President.
  5. “I am not surprised but disappointed in the Bishop of DC's comments. “ I am not surprised and I am very grateful as an Episcopalian for The Bishop’s comments. “It is what I have come to expect from our church leadership.” Yes. I expect our church leadership to stand strong against all types of hypocrisy. “At least our Presiding Bishop was less inflammatory in his denunciation.” I doubt you would support our Presiding Bishop with his ratifying signature on the document “A Confession of Faith in a Time of Crisis”. I encourage you to look it up. ”It would be nice if the Episcopal Church leadership would realize that being partisan has driven away lots of people from our church.” I do not personally know of a single member in my parish who has left because of partisan politics since we lost many members due to our acceptance of LGBTQ individuals. ”I stick around because I love the liturgy and don't want my faith to be comfortable to me.” I love the liturgy and music but that is not why I “stick” around. I love how our church strives to lovingly serve all its members and our community. I stick around because our tiny church does such things as serving meals to over 300 deserving individuals (up from under 100 just a few weeks ago). “I want to have my beliefs challenged and my heart softened and changed. I have to battle my biases, upbringing and sick mind.” I am grateful for my upbringing. I also seek grace and guidance from my many weaknesses.
  6. Women clergy do not count
  7. Proud Episcopalian right now
  8. This photo op bullshit is the very rock bottom act I have ever seen of a U.S. President. Standing there holding up a bible after ordering roughshod treatment over powerless citizens is blasphemy of everything that bible stands for.
  9. Republicans know it can be done efficiently and safely. That’s why they are against it.
  10. Washington sounds like she is coming to compete. Of course didn’t get to finish senior year softball season. Some Jr. stats: During her 2019 junior campaign at Abilene H.S., she batted .567 with 55 hits, 38 runs scored, 12 doubles, three triples, 15 HR's, 48 RBIs and 16 stolen bases on the way to earning Texas Girls Coaches Association (TGCA) First-Team
  11. Good thing about that, the unvaccinated are the ones getting COVID.
  12. It may have to wait since we are diligently working on our national global warming strategies.
  13. Sort of like “Do onto others as.....”
  14. It is getting to be a badge of the cult for R’s to refuse to wear masks
  15. I agree totally, but this Trump allure has been totally created by false perceptions and lies. Trump himself shares none of these midwestern American values. This New York, suit and tie, faithless, indoor loudmouth; personifies the cultural opposite of this fanatical base. This shows the hunger of many Americans for real American leaders who identifies and understands their existence. The tragedy is that millions of voters support this Trump dream without realizing they have been duped.
  16. He is a target of Q. Part of the “corrupt elite”.
  17. Yep just informed by watching 7 hrs. of tv yesterday before showing up in oval office.
  18. Trump is furious today because the fake media is questioning his latest attempt for a Nobel Peace Prize. How dare they probe into his intelligent two pronged solution for assuring football in August. Plan 1: The TBF...Trump Bleach Flush America has the greatest scientists and doctors (they all really love him) in the world. Under the direction of the President, America’s finest research teams are to be given one simple task, developing a simple process of flushing COVID infected lungs with bleach without killing the patient. Since the President is the nephew of an uncle with a PhD. and taught at MIT, he sincerely believes this simple challenge is coming along extremely well (really the best and fastest ever). A solution should be realized soon, very soon. Plan 2: The TUB... Trump Ultraviolet Bar. The President realizes some may be seeking a more high tech approach. The Trump Corp. has decided to market this COVID cleansing tool itself. For the extraordinary price of only $19.95 ($20.95 for Democrats) you will be able to purchase the TUB very soon, very soon. As an added bonus, if you act soon (COVID maybe gone by summer) you may receive a free second TUB (just pay $19.94 s&h). This proven appliance is very easy to use. You simply stick the supersonic, isotonic, TUB up your ass. Turn the TUB on for one minute and COVID virus is eliminated. Many have asked if this is a one time process and the President assures us that once is enough but he “knows” daily use is not harmful. Nobel Peace Prize
  19. Tough words for immediate media release for his intended targets...Donald, Republican donors, Governor protestors, and 40%ers. He isn’t going to do shit.
  20. Yes thanks. Super pumped with our staff. Hook’em
  21. Are you referring to those patriots who are doing everything they can to promote herd immunity?
  22. So you aren’t interested in counting numbers of nursing home infections or deaths. In the most highly affected areas, nursing home deaths account for 15 percent to as much as 50 percent of total deaths. Also just wondering your opinion of what is causing weekly home deaths to have increased from 4 to 6 times over historical levels in Detroit and New York.
  23. No big deal. Teachers are cheap and except for math and science teachers replaceable. Really students might infect others in the community and grandparents but most of them wouldn’t die. No big deal really.
