  1. Looks like Al Jazeera is only one I can find with live coverage https://www.aljazeera.com/live
  2. That would piss me off. When we travel on vacation, we often borrow my MIL's CRV since its bigger than my wife's car, but gets alot better gas millage than my Durango. When we bring it back, I get it detailed, fill up the gas and if it's close to time to do it, change the oil.
  3. I'm in this camp. While my wife does get gas often. I try every Sunday to take her car and fill it up. Gives me a chance to everything is working how it should. Then I go get a beer at watch either NFL or MLB pregame before going home. Works for both of us
  4. Lol. I don't know. I majored in music, not math.
  5. On our vacation last week. We shared a beach house with her family. Her mom "You need to get your passport done soon." Her "I will. but Jameslaw can't find my birth certificate and SS card. But we can do the kids and Jameslaw when we get back. We have those." I'm not going to say anything being it was her family I wasn't really part of the conversation. But I kinda dart my eyes up in WTF mode Her Dad (after about 30 seconds of silence) "So....only your stuff is missing.....I'm gonna go ahead and side with Jameslaw on this."
  6. A few weeks ago, it was lightly sprinkling. She was driving (I was drinking earlier) Her "There needs to be a slower version of windshield wipers." I reached over (on her car btw) and turned on the intermittent wipers and lowered the setting. I wish I got a pic of the look on her face.
  7. Invented in 1770..... Was originally used to write music.
  8. Honest to god can't remember. I just remember watching it with my dad and we both fucking lost it on that quote. Been trying to find that skit for awhile now.
  9. We had a few similar issues with Kroger and Tom Thumb. Now we do the drive up for Target, usually 2-3 times a week. That gets us all our canned goods, laundry detergent, ect. They'll miss stuff every once in a while, but not often. Then I go to Market Street/Trader Joes for meats, fruits and veggies. I never really liked the idea of someone else choosing which steak was marbled enough or how old (or green) the bananas were. Stuff like that. Seems to work for us pretty well.
  10. Meh. In fairness, I've posted a lot on the Ranger's threads. And not just when they are good. But I almost never post during the game. Even during commercials, I'm usually checking the other scores. I also rarely post in the UT football or Dallas Cowboys game threads either.
  11. Probably explains their stock price plummeting 42% in the last month...
  12. I thought I was the only one who could prevent forest fires. Slept with a bucket of water next to my bed.
  13. The wreckage is owned by an American company. It's in Canadian waters and is registered in Britain... So e'erbody I guess
  14. I have a couple of window type units that I use.
  15. This fucking sucks. Our AC needs to be replaced, but it still works fine until it get to around 95 for extended periods. So I haven't bought the bullet just yet.
  16. To yall who don't get acid reflux or heartburn. Fuckity fuck you. About 3 years ago it hit me really hard. I used to cover pretty much any dish with salsa or hot sauce. Now, I can barely use Franks. Jalapenos are pretty much out. Hell, even hoppy beer has to be limited to maybe two.... Guess I better enjoy my dick while I still can. Even if I am usually alone at the time...
  17. I'm going to have to figure out how to insert this into a conversation next week
  18. It was invented in Great Britain. Of course, with UK in 1800's, I'm sure they were at war with someone, somewhere
  19. Hate to be a debbie downer. But Guys... The A's gained a game on us last night...
  20. Agreed. When I'm looking at leftovers or what ever. It's no longer "I'll have the stuff from last night." It's "How can I put together leftovers from the last 4 nights into a combination that will give those on this thread an awkward but strangely proud erection." It's become the ultimate in team sports. Competition breeds excellence. But, at the end of the day, we're all on the same team with mutual respect for each others improvised cuisine choices.
