  1. When we have kids with us, usually only one of us will go into the store. Makes life a little easier. And when I'm driving around DFW for work, grocery parking lots are an easy place for me to pull over and check my emails and stuff.
  2. deGrom officially opening day starter according to espn's jeff passan
  3. I, too, am disappoint
  4. 2-22 in the second half for 7 points for ISU
  5. Trying to remember the last time a team combined for less than 90 points??
  6. Bobby Bonilla laughes
  7. I had them on the app for the PR gamer, and it would crash ever 30 minutes or so
  8. I believe on the broadcast Columbia needs to win by 3 AND has to score 4 runs
  9. I've been watching. But it's probably a little hard to keep up with games being so early and so late to really get into it for some people
  10. They couldn't make this more complicated. I read it as defensive runs allowed per out only against the three tied teams. right now US is at 1 run for 18 outs. (.056) Columbia is at 5 runs for 27 outs .185. Canada can't make up either in run differential. so they're out It looks like if in a 9 inning game. Columbia would have to win by 3 runs.... Columbia 5 runs given up in 54 outs (18 innings) 9.26% US 4 runs given up in 45 outs (15) innings 8.89% but fuck if that math is remotely correct.
  11. So, how does the Mexico/Canada game affect the US team?
  12. That's interesting. I can definitely taste the difference. To the point that I now have chickens just so I can get fresh eggs. For me, it's any type of wine above about $10. If you have a $15 Cab and a $40 cab, I probably couldn't tell you which was which.
  13. I have an intersection near me that has a no right on red DURING SCHOOL HOURS (there is an elementary on the corner).....every fucking weekend...
  14. Pizza that isn't sliced all the way through......
  15. Is this still slated to start at 1:30?
  16. I would add, that if you're hit by shrapnel, you're probably not dying real quick. And, with Russia, I would be willing to bet that if you survive bleeding out, you're probably going to get an infection that'll kill too
  17. Youngest girl (3) is definitely a momma's girl. The other two kids were daddy's so I'm cool with it. Last night the power went out and the 3 year old got scared and crawled into bed with us. In the middle of the night and her head was on my chest with her little arms around my neck. Wife "Want me to get her off of you?" Me "I will fucking kill you if you wake her right now"
  18. It belongs in a Museum /gif
  19. Keep us posted. I think what you're doing is awesome! I've known two people who did it. One was back to his wait in like a year. And my sil - she became vegan/vegetarian and almost looks too thin now.
  20. I'm not fat or anything, but about a year ago I noticed that I was getting winded/tired from playing with the kids (9 and 3) after just a few minutes. In July, I went for my annual check up (I'm 43) and my cholesterol and some other stuff (blood sugar and such) were way fucking high. Around the same time, my wife got in a car wreck. So I started walking to a from work (about 3 miles total). Just got my blood work back and everything is back in range and I'm feeling alot better. Obviously, the walking helped. But not being able to go get fast food for lunch and bringing something probably was the bigger impact. Also, stopped drinking during the week for the most part, because walking with even a little bit of a hangover sucks ass
  21. I wonder how the ratios at the beginning when Russia had the initiative versus the last 6 months or so
  22. We got a car about a year ago which was our first keyless ignition experiment. Wife left the car running overnight.....
  23. My brother in law was celebrating Maslenitsa, so we wound up going over there. He made a bunch of different crepes. Which were pretty good.
