  2. Wife yesterday. 2 year old has been sick for a couple of days. Took her to the pediatrician Tuesday. No covid. No temp. just can't hold anything down. but nothing life threatening. Wife (around 4:00 PM. I get off at 6:00) I'm taking baby to the ER. Just to be sure. Me : Okay let me know when you check in and which hospital Her : ER in Plano Me : Okay. Which one. Text me when you have a room number Her (around 5:30): Room 27. Can you bring me something to eat? Me : Of course. What do you want? And which Hospital? Her: Sandwich from Panera bread that I like. If it's on the way. If not, McDonalds is fine. Me: I have no fucking idea if there is a Panera on the way, because I have idea what fucking hospital you are at. Can you maybe tell me what fucking hospital in Plano you're at? Her: Im at the one our freaking kid was born at. Go there!!! Me: The Presby off 380 in McKinney? Her: yeah. that one. Me : Cool. There is a Panera across the street.
  3. Whats the hot sauce you got on there?
  4. That was more directed at shadow. But now that you mention it. I guess you're right. I don't see anyone else as of right now
  5. Just checking in to see if anyone still hates Solak?? [/ducks]
  6. I bought it on sale. 8.52 for what I got.
  7. Should work fine with tri tip. It's slow roasting so should have plenty of time to break down the muscles and you have the butter for extra fat. And I've seen a couple of people use sliced peppers.
  8. Leftover mississippi roast sandwiches. Provolone cheese. French bread My wife, was raised vegetarian has requested that I make this again next week. Not bad for about $12 worth of food. Sent from my SM-A515U using Tapatalk

  10. I, too, have found good deals on Rebock shoes and Under Amor dry wick shirts
  11. Side note - the 7-11 near me still won't let you get a refill of coffee. Have to purchase their coffee in their cup.
  12. Mine was about 5-6 whole peppers and about half the jar of juice from them. Even by pepperoncino standards, these were pretty mild. There is a sequel coming tonight!
  13. I think its just where some of the ranch or Au Jos was touching the blood from the meat. 1 packet of each plus some ground pepper and butter. I added about half a bottle of Modelo too
  14. Whoever posted the Mississippi roast. You're a fucking genius. Sent from my SM-A515U using Tapatalk
  15. 100% agree on the roasted red peppers. Thought I had a jar left but I was out. I'm not a big fan of shredded lettuces. Had some Romaine but it wasn't as crisp as I like so I skipped it. Also, added red or balsamic vinegar right before it served is excellent
  16. This is what I've been thinking. The walks are great, but I think that's more a product of the Ranger's offense as a whole. I hoping all these walks and some of the other players doing better than expected may cause him to hit some HR's in bunches. But right now, he's a .222 hitter on pace to hit about 10 HR.....
  17. Come on Gallo - I hope I jinxed you
  18. Saturday nights dinner. I added some pepperichinos and hot sauce to mine Hard to tell, but I scooped out most of the breading underneath the meat and cheese Sent from my SM-A515U using Tapatalk
  19. Anyone starting to get a little worried about Gallo? 72 PA 1 HR, 0 doubles or triples. Though I do like his OBP (.444).
  20. Just googled and it's still available. Can't wait to see what kind of ads I can look forward to on FB and Amazon now!
  21. So, according to BR - our SP is tied for second in the Majors with a +1.5WAR (Mets are 1.8, Phili also has a 1.5) Our RP is 5th worst at -0.9.
  22. It was a dick move. Thats roughly the equivalent of your boss asking you to stay 2 hours late, 30 minutes before you were supposed to leave. An hour and a half means they were either late to their next job, or getting home to their family
  23. Yeah, from what I understood from my wife, she was one of those women who just keeps talking and talking. Silence abhors a vacuum type. I think he was just trying to watch the game and finally lost it. We've all been there
  24. Reminds me of when I coached T-ball. Husband and wife were sitting near enough for my wife to hear and she told me about this conversation that night: Wife : I just don't feel like Junior is getting to play as much as the other kids. Husband : He plays second base and there are 9 kids on the team. Wife : I know he plays 2nd, But he doesn't bat as much Husband : There's 9 kids on the team. Wife : So. He doesn't get to bat as much. Husband : There are nine fucking kids on the team. Do you see anyone sitting in the god damn dugout? He bats freaking 5th. He gets plenty of at bats.. Jesus... Next week I pulled him out to be the 3rd base coach. Pretty sure he was grateful about that
