  1. Oh you wanted a receipt? Haha fuck you! Walk your ass in the store and the receipt
  2. After the cracker barrel incident a couple of years ago. And the dead battery 5 years ago. I've decided to get out of any plans my in laws ever make if at all humanely possible. Example 3 @Knoxtnhorn Sooo... we live in Allen, about an hour north of Downtown Dallas. A few weeks ago my wife said she was going to take the kids and go down to Austin (with her family) for her Grandmothers birthday. I said "Ok, that's fine. I'll probably need to work on that weekend so just don't include me in your parents/grandparents plans." Fast forward to last night. "I'm probably going to go hang out with a couple of guys Saturday night." Her : "You won't be home when we get home?" Me :Thought you were going to be gone???" Her : "We coming back after lunch." After a long pause with a confused look on my face. "You're leaving Saturday morning? Are you driving with 3 kids under the age of 10 4+ hours to eat lunch and then driving back???? So like 9 hours in the car with a 6 month old, a 4 year old and a 10 year old?" Her "When you say it like that it sounds like a stupid idea." Me "I mean, it's your grandmother. I wouldn't do it, but whatever. Where are yall eating lunch?" Her "................Denny's................"
  3. Smart. I keep trail mix, protein bars, crackers, gatorade, ginger ale, and scotch in my desk drawer to keep from going to get fast food
  4. I'm pretty close t doing that. But I can get low blood sugar too easily. There are alot of times I just eat a protein bar or some trail mix though. If I have a busy schedule that day, a couple PB&Js hit the spot for me.
  5. I travel for work alot, so splitting it in half and taking it to go doesn't work often. I used to do that a bunch when I did sales in the morning, lunch, then back to the office. Split it half for two lunches.
  6. Was he a fucking hobbit? On the food though. I wish more places smaller lunch portions. I don't like eating much for lunch because it makes me tired. Half a BLT is perfect for me. But most sit down restaurants really don't have that type of stuff anymore
  7. Still weighing the options on streaming. Does anyone know if Fubo has the mlb network? It says they do. But when I actually look at the line up list it isn't on there
  8. We bought a grey nissan sentra. It may be the most generic car in the history of cars. I literally have to check the license plate number to make sure I don't get in someone elses car, because I've close several times
  9. Whataburger is opening a spot in Globe life.
  10. Two good stories for the week: My daughter (4 year old) sometimes gets scared at night. So a few weeks ago, I bought her this tent thing that goes on her bed. It's helped alot. However, she has been very explicit that no one else is allowed in the tent. Twice, I've gone into check on her at night and have been told to get out of the tent. Last night, wife was very sick. and went to bed at like 7. I told princess not to go in our room tonight and wake up mom. And that I would be out in the living room. She said "Are you going to sleep on the couch?" I told I was and to come find me if she needed anything and, once again, leave mom alone. Around 10:00, I'm half asleep on the couch and she taps me on the forehead and says "Hey Daddy, wanna come sleep in the tent." My son (10) brought his lunch to school and sat down with his friend. His friend apparently forgot his lunch or didn't have money on his card or something. without being prompted, son got up and wen through the line and got his friend food on his card. And they split the lunch from home and the cafeteria lunch together. We didn't even find out about it from him. The other kids parents called us
  11. Not so much for work. But you wouldn't believe how many times I've told someone "the kids are sick" to get out of social situations I didn't want to be a part of
  12. Looks like fubo has a trial so I can start it a few days before and let them over lap a bit. Thing that sucks about stopping hulu is a I still have to keep the hulu & disney streaming stuff for the family. So it's going to tack on about $30 more a month for me to watch the Rangers.
  13. I either pour it in my dogs dry food. Or just pour in the yard. But I've done the foil thing before. Used to the coffee can, but I don't think any coffee comes in actual metal containers anymore. Maybe Cafe DuMond?
  14. I was able to fix both myself, but I've taken out a penny lodges in the blades. And somehow an avocado seed.....
  15. @Knoxtnhorn Ummm... is this you?
  16. probably the background. Happened to me when I was driving. One of those gates you see closes if the road is flooded ahead. But instead of being bright yellow or something, it was grey and rusted. Almost perfectly camouflaged . I just barely stopped in time. This one looks grey and they're coming down hill may have blended into the street behind it
  17. The fact that the Super Bowl and College NC Game are on work nights.
  18. Anyone here use Fubo? I use Hulu right now, but would switch as long as I'm not going to wind up losing espn or some of the stations my wife watches
  19. We can probably just go ahead and rename the various threads to: WW3 - Mid East Front WW3 - Eastern European Front WW3 - South China Sea Front
  20. Breakfast. Tater tots, two fried eggs, bacon, left over sausage and brisket, jalapenos and salsa Verde
