  1. This seems worthy of its own thread. There needs to be a response from UT alum. Is this who we are, or not?
  2. It’s worth noting that in 2024 **FACEBOOK** still doesn’t enable embedding either. It’s possible they’ve decided to prevent this for threads even when the APIs for developers rolls out to the masses
  3. Don’t recall your ages, but that’s 100% not been my experience. I would have to force myself to slow down to hit a reg with consistency, and I’m not a particularly fast swinger already
  4. I would get the same flex shaft as your new irons. A hybrid is meant to be swung as an iron so you don’t want a different feeling flex, nor would you want to change your tempo to accommodate it.
  5. Is Reg flex right for you? If so, id get 3h to better fill gap between 5i and 3w for now, but def plan on getting that 4h in future
  6. So that’s 12 clubs? Leaving you room to add 3h too?
  7. Did you mean to say 5i-48 instead of 5w? Most 5w are equivalent to 3h, but the 4h should play a bit more than a step above the 5i so that should be a good club to include
  8. A tool fan would know how to count to 3
  9. Give it any more time? I’m just now getting to it (long flight) and I’ve enjoyed it. Still an incredible voice somehow
  10. Where are you placing the ball in your stance with the 3w? I’ve been able to dial mine in by relearning ball position. It’s taken a number of range sessions to get comfortable with though. I’d agree that it needs to look right first and foremost. If you don’t feel confident with that club the misses can be disastrous
  11. There at least 4 totally wasted strokes on those three holes. On 9 I barely pulled it into a hazard and had to drop. On 10 I juuuuuust missed a perfect 6 iron that clipped the bottom of a limb, kicked right into the trunk of the same tree and then rolled back to the spot I just swung from. And then the aforementioned 4 jack Golf
  12. I 4-jacked from 8 feet on a par 3, but managed to win my flight with a 78 today
  13. Using the 7:30, 9:00, 10:30 clock technique with 60*, 56*, 52*, 48* wedges will make you look like a fucking wizard with your pitches. I’ve stuck a ton of wedges to less than 3 feet from inside 60 yards the last few months thanks to this
  14. Thanks, I went ahead and got this one. Hopefully it’s the right size and material
  15. Looking for a new ball marker. Hoping someone in Austin area can grab it if you see it and ship to Florida. I’ll pay, obviously! Metal so it sticks to standard magnetic marker holders Two sided with different colors. I like to use one side as main and other side when someone asks me to move it… the color reminds me to move it back Ideally Horns logos. My last one was white on orange on one side and orange on white for the other. I’d happily take 2 or 3 as I will inevitably lose one again When I lived in Austin seemingly every club had these, but of course not here in Florida. Everything I’ve found online is one sided (or lacks pics to show alternative side) Thanks in advance!
  16. Yeah I saw and thought that too. Not a bad bet
  17. I can’t find a fold anywhere here
  18. lol she already has 9M followers on Threads Insane
  19. Good points. If someone had a set in the board I hit my flush on they might still pay in hopes that I was betting the river because of something that happened on the other board. Irony there is that if I hit BOTH boards I might not get any action at all!
  20. Oh, shit, yeah. Still, pretty questionable call imo. I can’t imagine getting much value on river
  21. I went with B) Call, but I think A) Fold was proper in retrospect. I’m paying $50 to win $225 on each board, so need to win 22% of the time for that to be +ev. Assuming I have 10 outs, that’s only 20%, and any hit on one board dilutes the other.
  22. $2/5, $25 double board bomb pot. All 8 play, so $200 pot to the flop I have As7s on the BTN Ks 5c 2d Jh 4s 3d Checks completely around Ks 5c 2d 8s Jh 4s 3d Ts I go from complete air to 2 nut flush draws. SB leads out $100 and is called by UTG. Both have $1k and have my $600 covered. Everyone else folds to me. A) Fold B) Call $100 C) Raise to $300 D) Jam $600
