  1. 755 entries. Not bad but i remember this being north of 1k last few years
  2. Last hand before break. I open Co to 2k w A8hh. Folds to young French dude in BB who has pushed back on 2 of my opens the last few levels. Now he jams 15.1k. I call and can’t catch up to his 66 8k going into 500/1k/1k after break Fuck
  3. Open UTG to 1k w AKo. CO calls. 3k pot Th8c7c. I cbet 800. He starts to fold but then changes mind and calls. Damn. 4600 pot. Td. Pretty good card if I read that right. I make it 2300 and he calls again? 9200 pot. Ts. Lulz. I make it 7k and he taaaaaaaank folds Pick up a tidy 3k w KK on BTN vs SB
  4. 22.4k to 200/400/400 Will be interesting to see how much action showing that 45hh will now get me!
  5. I get a little loose Open HJ to 700 w 5h4h. BTN and BB call 2300 pot 345 rainbow. BB donks out 900, only I call. 4100 pot J. He makes it 2200 to go, I call. 8500 pot Q. Chk chk and he shows 66
  6. Just 20 min levels which kinda sucks for a $1100 buyin! Just at 474 entries so far as we move to level 2: 100/200/200
  7. UTG1 opens to 300. 4 callers to me in BB w QQ. I make it 2200 and only UTG2 calls. 5400 pot. 5h5s4s. I make it 5k and he folds. I’m fine with that
  8. Underway with first bullet. 15k starting stack, 100/100/100 This is now a Landmark game, so getting chip stack to 150k is an instant winner
  9. Heading out tomorrow for WSOP. Will try to satellite in to Main Event, and if I fail at that I’ll take a few Daily shots as those have been pretty solid historically Will post updates if anything looks promising
  10. Also, confirm your putting stroke is actually smooth. Should start back slowly, not jerky, and transition to through-swing similarly, having nearly paused at end of backswing. Yippy putters tend to be very jerky in my experience
  11. I also do nothing but 5-6’ putts pre-round, ideally perfectly straight and a bit uphill. I may do a few straight downhillers if the speed is unusually fast, but that’s rare. Best tip I have is to make sure you’re swinging by rocking your shoulders ONLY, allowing your arms and hands to remain passive. Once you’re doing that equal length back and through, you’ve taken most of the swing variables out of play, so emphasis can be on speed and read.
  12. Something happening today From web browser, you can now click share and there’s an option to get embed code
  13. Yeah I found a backpack so I can bike there Ended up getting a Phaze II at the pro shops recommendation. I was going to get a Hammer but he suggested I might struggle a bit controlling it just yet.
  14. Our beach town had an absolutely ancient bowling alley less than a mile away from my house that finally went under in 2018. This disgusting lot/building sat for a few years and then it was announced someone would buy and rebuild it. 4 years and like $8M later, it re opened yesterday and is fantastic. 20 lanes, arcade, restaurant and huge, upstairs outdoor bar Bought my shoes and bag yesterday. Will hunt for a ball today. Totally going to become a bowler for days when golfing is out of the question (Check back in 2-3 months to see if I have a barely used ball and ball bag for sale here)
  15. I’m down to 8.2. PB is 8.1 11 years ago Went ahead and shot a smooooooth 39/48 today to ensure I don’t get there tomorrow morning, I guess
  16. I’ve always been a feel putter for distance, but have been toying around with prescribed backstroke distances instead and I have to admit it works pretty damn well. Anyone using this as their standard putting approach?
