Yeah he probably would’ve called QB power instead. Dude, he lost to Maryland twice, lost to Oklahoma his final 3 tries, lost to Iowa State his last 2 seasons, and never won the B12. His key situation play calling was CLEARLY ELITE
Kicking at that under thrown ball like a dipshit too. He’s dropped way too many passes this season to think he’s too good to make an honest attempt at that and act like a bitch. It suggests that some of the balls he’s dropped that were behind him were due to a lack of effort. We have to expect him to portal if we stick with Arch, but perhaps it will be for the best in the locker room.
My brother in Christ, every sentence in this post is inexcusable at the University of Texas in 2025 and must result in coaching sacrifice. The fans deserve blood for having to endure this.
This is the bottom line. He can’t get the ball out on time even when his 1st read is wide open and his mechanics are so bad he physically cannot be accurate. The one time per game he hits a guy in stride, it’s probably luck because his feet are still bad. Ewers had his limitations but he’d at least hit the easy throws. Arch doesn’t do that and his decent running ability doesn’t make up for it. We haven’t had to put up with this level of QB play since Ehlinger’s freshman season.
Exactly
He’s not surrounded by the talent they expected and he’s looking like shit. The mannings aren’t here for the money. They’re after legacy and a long NFL career. Arch is getting killed, humiliated, dragged by the internet, and he’s fucking miserable. Why wouldn’t he transfer after this season?
