How is he keeping it together. Holy shit

Nooooo! Please don't give Trump this platform to continue to lie. Convict him while he powerlessly watches on TV

Fuck I shouldn't have turned this on. I can't turn it off. Totally agree that the Senate can and should try this. Struggling to see how it's debatable.

Dude don't be obtuse. The comparison is as an NFL prospect coming out of college. And it is a fair one, every Dak draft profile lists his non-elite arm strength, inconsistent accuracy, grittiness, blah blah blah. Nobody is saying their expectation is he'll be a Dak in the NFL. He was drafted in the same range as Sam is projected now.
Like BOOM said above it isn't about predicting Sam will be an all-pro but I think you probababy realize that. Easier just to beat up on a strawman.
Sure, a guys pro career doesn't have any other factors. The NFL comp we are talking about was drafted to be developed over a few years but Tony Romo was injured in the preseason and Dak became a day one starter. I'm sure that didn't change his NFL trajectory in the slightest. Scheme, coaches, draft capital investment, non of those things matter, only talent and acumen. Vince Young's career would have been identical with Jeff Fisher and Andy Reid.
Dak really did luck into an extremely rare situation for a rookie QB. Has there ever been a more perfect scenario for a developing QB to succeed? Dallas had just blown a huge load building a young dominant OL with an elite RB to protect Romo.
Dallas didn't even really want to draft Dak and had to settle for him. Two injuries ahead of him on the depth chart. Then they tried to bring in a veteran QB but that fell through. He apparently wasn't even all that accurate in practice but he was poised and could manage the offense so he got his shot.
On a different team, he doesn't get that opportunity as a rookie, and if he does, he's probably getting the shit knocked out of him like most young QBs in the NFL thrust into bad situations. And then who knows how or if he develops.

Completely agree.
My point is that no one is saying SE is a sure thing, guaranteed starter or better than VY or Colt. That's just Derka setting the ball on the tee for himself.
We're not even comparing SE to modern MVP caliber Dak. We're comparing him to the marginal NFL prospect Dak was coming out of MSU to illustrate that Dak represents his low probability potential. If i had to put money on it, SE will wash out of the NFL very quickly like the vast majority of good college QBs.
It's bizarre how invested in this Derka is but at least it's entertaining.

is over here comparing Sam to an MVP-level NFL QB and saying that he'll definitely become a starter, despite his film showing him to be a marginal NFL prospect at best. yeah, Vince, Colt, and Simms struggled to make it, but Sam Ehlinger is just destined for NFL greatness.
You're ass fucking that straw man bro

I was really expected numbers to be up. We’re told we shouldn’t go to bars, shouldn’t go to super bowl parties, etc.
So basically in supposed Covid lockdown, what the fuck else is there to do? Read a comic book? I just figured folks would stay home and turn on the tv. I guess I don’t know what I’m talking about.

I cut the cable a couple years ago and have Sling now but all you needed to watch the SB was a $15-$20 antenna. I suppose I didn't contribute to the ratings.

It was supposed to be tent-free, but it ain't. And I like that the two block stretch along Town Lake on Chavez are the two blocks in front of the Mayor's Office and the Mayor's Condo. What a curious confluence of compassion and coincidence. Alliteratively Asshole Adler.

Texas first shots crossed 10% today, seniors with first shots are at 26%. At the 7 day rate, seniors will reach 50% coverage on March 3rd, everyone over 16 will get to 50% on June 7th. I'm using estimated 2021 Texas population -- the official websites are using a 2018 number.
Are you saying 50% of seniors will have at least 1 shot by March 3? Or 50% will have both shots? Either way, thanks for doing the math.

You couldn't pay me to live north of Ben White. Central is full of yuppies and north is full of people like you. South Austin is the only place that still has any Austin left in it. The rest is a hodge podge of pool halls, California, and white people that watch cable newsPlease, elaborate. I'm dying to know why South of Ben White has a monopoly on what defines Austin.

The funniest part about FitLump's district being up in arms is the lack of self awareness. They actually believe homeless people can make northwest Austin worse. It's a soulless boring shithole that Austin should renounce and allow Leander or Round Rock to annex.
A homeless shelter would make that area better.2nd time you've made a post like this and it makes no sense. It's a low crime area with great schools and hills and lake travis. What exactly is it lacking?

So coinbase pro doesn't have any sort of annual or subscription fee, it's just a more transparent GUI that charges lower transaction fees? Glad I never transferred any $ into coinbase...

Newbie alert. Got coinbase, did a tiny bit of research. Looks like ethereum is a good coin to hold while AAVE and maybe COMP can be used to earn passively. Turns out i need coin wallet to lend coins. Got coin wallet and tried to move over small test amounts and it looks like there's a substantial fee.
So far coinbase annoys the fuck out of me being glitchy AF with my ID verification and the nickel and diming. What's the least expensive way to bring money into coin wallet (from bank, credit card, venmo, paypal, whatever the fuck), park it in AAVE and let it grow?

How would selling short on the secondary market force GME into bankruptcy? The underlying financials and balance sheet for GME is what was forcing them into bankruptcy. The short sell was a bet on the inevitable. Although I would agree that being allowed to go over 100% doesn’t make sense.
When this is all over GME will most likely go into bankruptcy unless they change their business model pretty quickly
SIAP but their balance sheet was not driving them into bankruptcy even before the stock rocketed. The short sell was out of ignorance and a bet that GME can't pivot their business at all before people no longer want physical discs. Lots of people (like 38%?) still want physical discs and GS still has like 100M members. GS pulls in like $8B per year and they had a lot of cash on hand and were already working on ways to transform their business model. They have more time to adapt than you and the HF thought.
