  2. Way too many words, dude. That might work on a message board but it’s awful in a commercial. Half way through the sentence most Americans pick up their phones. By the end of the sentence, they’re disgusted by a headline thumbnail of a masculine woman participating in an Olympic event…
  3. Before you hit submit on posts like this, you should try replacing “Democrat” with “Republican” to see if it still makes sense.
  4. How does it compare to the $100M Trump has spent on legal fees, paid for by his supporters, the last few years?
  5. I mean, they were. It needed to be presented and investigated. But the only people that watched them would’ve voted against Trump even if the D candidate was a literal donkey. Independents of today are only independent because they’re disengaged. I also suspect abortion helped trump more than it helped Harris. Lots of people that are completely unaffected by abortion laws because they’re old, or men without young daughters, or just very religious, care deeply enough about it to hold their nose and vote for a giant piece of shit.
  6. Sounds like the mega farm corporations have another buying opportunity on the horizon.
  7. I don’t disagree that the value of BTC in USD has outpaced CPI by a lot over the last 8 years, but the difference in highs from the last peak in 2021 and today’s are relatively modest. The data set for this infographic is obnoxiously cherry picked.
  8. The popular vote totals are still incomplete. Not sure when all the numbers will be in. Both candidates will end up with more. I think the chart would be better if it showed 3rd party results, but also it seems clear that more former Biden voters switched to Trump than former Trump voters switched to Harris. That makes intuitive sense to me since Trump has clearly been who he is for at least 8 years now, Harris became the candidate late and she got saddled with the price inflation that hurt so many more Americans than the asset inflation benefited
  9. You contorting a mussolini comparison into gas chambers is ridiculous and you know it. Fascism isn’t a particular simple definition, it’s more like checking a bunch of boxes. Trump checks essentially every box if you care to look into it. It’s not like one goes from model citizen to fascist leader over night. Mother fucker, it’s a process. Haven’t you seen the reports about Musk and Trump having conversations with Putin in the last couple years? All indications, based on Trumps dumb fucking rhetoric and the pressure he applied to his allies like Mike Johnson, are that Trump is going to concede American support for Ukraine if they don’t stop fighting for their lost territory. Ukraine is attempting to defeat the closest thing the world has seen to Nazi Germany. Russia is arguably on the brink and desperately wants this cease fire. Putin has said he wants a ceasefire and based on their overall lack of battlefield success and internal economic conditions, there’s reason to believe him. Russian forces have been pushing harder than ever the past month, at an unsustainable casualty pace (a new monthly high score!), confident they’ll get their ceasefire and be able to lock in these territorial gains. They will regroup and try again in a few years. A ceasefire in the next few months is a gift to Russia. Trump will attempt to force Ukraine to agree to it. I hope they spit in his face. I think the Mussolini comparison is apt.
  10. ive never understood why history books don’t refer to mussolini’s and his supporters as typical Italians just trying to live their best lives with some fascists mixed in.
  11. Trump amplified conspiracy theories and contradicted the experts, often as they were attempting to advise the public on best practices. Yes, essentially any other human being would have handled that time better than Trump did.
  12. All that may be true, but, and hear me out, how many of the precious undecideds were fat fingering this into Google Wednesday?
  13. Proof that it’s a stable store of value. Check mate
  14. Such a monster… At least get them some of that fine North Korean dog meat.
  15. Did you watch the VP debate? It was very civil. Did it bore you? Think about that…
  16. Yeah, almost all boomers are in poor health and in such cognitive decline they’re shadows of their former selves, just like Trump.
  17. Yeah we 🚨 bothsides 🚨 super fucked up allowing the debt mountain to grow so large that simply making the minimum payment on the interest now exceeds what we spend on our military. We essentially did this to ourselves in just a few decades. If you remove our debt servicing costs, our deficit is more like a quaint $800B.
  18. Allred didn’t say he didn’t care about trans kids at all, but it’s cool that you’re being honest about your feelings, even if they’re really shitty.
  19. Good summary of trumps stated economic plans
  20. RFK being in charge of anything might be the wildest shit to come out of this whole nightmare. Trumps cabinet will be an all-star team of weirdos and misfits. When Elon sits at that table, he will genuinely be the smartest man in the room.
  21. I don’t read it as “he will stop now” … unless I’m missing something, Trump just wants bibi to wrap up the genociding by January 20. If anything, I’d expect an increase in violence so Israel can have a “stable” situation sorted by late January. Then in exchange for israel getting to freely genocide without the threat of the US cutting military aid (the path Biden was finally on as he attempted to thread his political needle), Trump gets to pretend to be a tough guy and “make” israel and Hamas agree to a cease fire. I don’t think it actually amounts to fewer dead people. Hopefully I’m wrong!
  22. So you’re convinced the USD enters hyper inflation in the next 4 years? Just curious, how long have you been expecting hyper inflation?
  23. Pituitary gland problem, likely tumor, imo
  24. Said without a hint of irony? resident silver stacker has spoken
  25. Yes but it won’t be massive. Unless I’m mistaken, the presidential draw down authority for fiscal 2025 wasn’t increased so it’s just $100M. Biden pretty much blew his whole load at the end of September (end of fiscal 24) with $5.5B … it’s unclear to me how they scraped together another $425M in October. It’s also unclear to me how much of what’s been promised since September will actually get delivered before the Trump gets in and how much of it he’ll be able to cancel, if he chooses to, like a stupid piece of shit.
