    Sushi

Soto is really good (both locations) Osaka as mentioned is our go to. Haru Sushi in gateway is good, lots of lunch combo choices. Tomo is a fun place when we can go eat out again.
  2. I don't always agree with him but BT is spot on here. Any variation is fine to suit your own tase but no longer "traditional".
  3. I am hoping for this at a place we are looking at, we are the backup offer on a house on LBJ. Hopefully the first buyers back out of that deal.
  4. They have Golden Tee in them? I figured they were slot type machines.
  5. The article indicates they are going to let inflation rates go above target for a period of time.
  6. Next week - split is effective 8/31
  7. Chicken Parm, pasta with vodka sauce on the side and some roasted broccoli.
  8. Let me try to get this thread back on track. Here is some fish tacos (that is some HEB raw corn tortillas with some grouper): And some lightly fried corn tortillas with beef, onions, cilantro, and Dona sauce: And some pastor tacos with Dona sauce.
  9. Well that is reassuring (I guess), I noticed I had a itchy throat that felt like allergies but had not checked.
  10. Used VRBO a last month in SPI with no problem. https://spirentals.com seems to have a lot of places and they were managing the place we rented if you want to go with someone with a office down there.
  11. Part of it is just figuring out what that P/E multiple should be for tech stocks. You could argue Apple was undervalued for a long time comparatively and is just now even with the closest compares. As of today the P/E multiples look like: Facebook - 32 Google - 34 Apple - 35 Microsoft - 36 Netflix - 82 Tesla - 972
  12. I would say Vancouver for a few reasons. 1) sounds better for your wife's job growth 2) Portland is a cool town which will also have jobs for you if needed and 3) I hate paying taxes, by living in Vancouver you would avoid any state income tax, and you can easily shop in Oregon and avoid the 9% sales tax the state of Washington has.

    Mexican

Don Mario's is pretty good, big fan of the street style tacos they have.
  14. Started K and 3rd grade this morning. So far ok, but it has just been lots of learning how to use the tools (zoom or whatever) so far.
  15. Biden might choose to be only 1 term based on age.
  16. can't wait to find out he was a off duty cop....
  17. Yes - Austin drivers are terrible. Cool story time...I was in a car in the right hand lane where those people were once. I was stopped because the next light was red and traffic backed up. A car turning right (just like this car) ran right into me because he was so busy looking left waiting for his opening he did not see a STOPPED SUV in front of him. So yes it happens because people are terrible drivers. I dont know what happened here but it is not clear one way or another if it was on purpose.
  18. I don't know if that is obvious. Depending on how bad he was driving (looking at his phone, drunk, whatever) he may of never seen the people if he is looking left as he turns and never looks where he is going (seen it many times), he starts far enough back without stopping to look both ways he may have never looked right (obviously still at fault). Still he committed some crime, but that doesn't = he saw the people and then decided to drive into them on purpose.
  19. I really hope he doesn’t come back. That’s all was thinking when they didn’t show the kill or body.
  20. watched the last two weeks of episodes last night, this is getting really good.
  21. Just announced on conference call, Austin it is.
  22. I think we are going to head to Breck for three weeks end of Aug/ early Sept. I doubt football happens, and the kids are going to remote learn anyway, I can work from anywhere with internet. We can escape the heat for a bit and hike, Bike etc outside. We will rent a VRBO and cook at the house and stay around there and do outside stuff. Looking at the temperature differences, sounds nice.
  23. Email just came out:
  24. Wild rice, blackened grouper topped with a bay scallop and shrimp etouffee.
  25. They were enforcing the 15 feet requirement last week. Some numerous times they ask people to move or take down one umbrella. You could have more people under one umbrella. The rule was just to limit it to just two chairs so if a couple people can sit on a blanket or something you would be fine.
