  1. He got married.
  2. Some KU fans, me included, agree with this and have been arguing for a running heavy system for most of the past decade. We will always struggle to pull in talent that compares to the top half of the B12 running some form of the spread or passing heavy offense. We would find it much easier to get a top option QB since so few schools run it now days. Running back is the easiest position to recruit good players at. Just have to get some disciplined, solid lineman. We would be much harder to prepare for as a unique offense in the B12, would control the clock, and keep games closer. Our floor each season would be substantially higher IMO, even if the ceiling is lower. And this is KU FB. We will be at the floor most of the time and almost never at our ceiling, especially with the round robin schedule where you won't get lucky and dodge the top teams that year sometimes. Army's Monken is one of the 2 coaches most wished for on KU fans wish list at this time. The other is Buffalo's Leipold. We'd be lucky to land either and both currently use run heavy systems. Goff would be a solid AD hire with the chance to be a home run. It would have been nice to get a successful sitting P5 AD, but with FB being in the toilet, and possible sanctions in the future looming, it was going to be hard to attract those guys away from another P5 school. Plus, he would not be tied to a current FBHC like the candidates from Army and Tulane so won't play favorites in our FB coaching search. Supposedly, he is also Self's favorite choice as well.
  3. Do not visit SelfLoveU. I got my tissues and lube and settled back for a couple minutes of relaxation. The channel is a shitty emotional self-help channel. I thought it was a masturbation technique channel. I could not even get an erection from the crazy chick giving advice. I am disappoint.
  4. Jimmy Buffett gonna sue y'alls ass to Bolivia. Look, us and Jimmy Buffet's people... got this little misunderstanding. See they're MaRgaritaville. We're MaGaritaville. They have the parrot. Ours is the shaman. See they got Jimmy's Jammin' Jambalaya. We got Donny's Lyin' Gumbo. We both got Cajun rice, shrimp, chicken, Andouille sausage and a spicy broth. But they cook their rice in the pot. Our rice is cooked separately.
  5. Things are starting to heat up between Russia/Belarus and the Ukraine again. Troops and equipment being massed along the border. https://www.yahoo.com/news/putin-accuses-ukraine-provoking-clashes-090420442.html https://www.yahoo.com/finance/news/russia-invade-ukraine-000000688.html
  6. Chinese, Japanese, and Koreans generally think little of each other due to a long history of issues and conflicts with each other. They think even less of SE Asians. They are okay with whites, but browns and blacks will get discriminated against pretty badly sometimes. Non-white expats tell some crazy stories of shit that is done or said to them sometimes. Stuff that is outside the usual anti-foreigner crap you will experience in almost every country, in some form or another, if you live there for an extended time. Luckily, at least in Korea, and probably Japan and China too, the younger generations (under 50) are increasingly more open and less bigoted/racist. It is probably because they increasingly watch media, listen to music, and engage in pop culture from around Asia and the rest of the world, and not just from their own culture. The social progress I have seen in Korea in the decade I have been here has been substantial.
  7. I am starting to think he is the son Trump wishes he had. Chases underage tail, brags about his "conquests", had a father who could cover all his fuck ups, does stupid shit to get attention, pals around with morally bankrupt people, lies a lot, and he wears ill-fitting suits.
  8. Hopefully Texas wakes up like Kansas did after 2 terms of Brownback and elects a Dem governor just to get some backwards ass shit fixed or gotten rid of. Honestly, I was considering Texas if I returned to the U.S. since several of my siblings live there now; however, after the past year it is off the list based on the current state of affairs in TX and the apparent downward trend of sanity in the state government there.
  9. I am glad he was gentle.
  10. No wonder Trump likes Gaetz so much. Since Epstein got arrested and then deep sixed, maybe Gaetz was his able to hook Trump up with Greenberg. I'm only half-joking.
  11. CU is alright. They are the only school that left, that just went and did not point fingers and make stupid excuses for why they left. They handled it the right way. The other 3 schools, not so much.
  12. I want to be optimistic, but things can always get worse, and when it comes to our FB program we, almost without fail, make the wrong choices. As a KU FB fan it is best just to expect complete failure, and be pleasantly surprised if that doesn't happen. I honestly think until we renovate our stadium, it will be hard to be even mediocre again. It is a big, festering symbol of the decades of neglect that the program has received. It is hard to fund raise for a renovation, when the program is this putrid, so it is all just becomes a Groundhog Day of failure.
  13. That man saw some shit in the Georgia woods back in the early 70s. Then in early November of last year he saw a repeat, only this time he had to listen his friend squeal like a pig for over 2 months. That will fuck a dude up.
  14. Okay this is the clearest explanation I could find on what will happen: TLDR: If convicted by 2/3 of the Senate, he is automatically barred from future office by Section 3 of the 14th Amendment. He has to be convicted to be barred from office, whether automatically in cases related to Section 3, or by majority vote, in other cases, during the punishment vote following conviction.
  15. This was always my understanding the first vote is for conviction. After that they have a vote on punishment. The punishments can be removal from office, being barred from future office, or both and is simple majority. But it is a little confusing since removal is out. Seen so many conflicting comments on what will happen.
  16. He deserves it; however, are there enough R senators with spines to vote for conviction? I doubt it. I have zero faith in Republicans doing the right and hard thing after the last 4 years. The threat of the party being splintered is just the excuse many would probably like for not convicting in the name of party unity. Trump can't be trusted and he will turn around and still create the Patriot party, regardless of whether he is convicted or not, just for the grift opportunities for himself and his family. It will just be an added bonus of revenge if they convict him. I hope you are right though. Nothing I would like better than seeing the MAGA tears if he is convicted and barred from future office. Fuck Trump.
  17. Trump playing hardball. He's not getting convicted.
  18. I'll believe he votes for impeachment when I see it; but, Mitch probably doesn't plan to run again. Dude will be 84 when his term ends in 2026. I really doubt he gives a shit Tomi. Besides what money is the RNC going to have if the the business world shuts off the money pipeline until the Q/Trumpanzees are purged?
  19. Sorry for your loss. You don't need to deal with your emotions on your own. Please seek support if you need it. Don't feel you have to do it alone.
  20. Good for him. I'd decline too or I'd send mine back, if I had ever received one, after Rush Limbaugh and Devin Nunes received one. Talk about devaluing it. It means nothing now. It's just candy for sycophants.
  21. The GOP only wants Biden to call off the dogs because they know Trump and his cronies are so stupid and inept that they will have left an evidence trail of their being involved in what went down that will implicate a lot of GOP peeps. They could care less about the country healing or they would never have been involved in standing by, or worse, actually encouraging the division that has been happening the last few years under Trump, especially the post-election bullshit. They are worried about their their seats being in danger in the future, or of being indicted for sedition for that shit show many were involved in encouraging and planning on the 6th. Fuck all those hypocrites. If Democrats and Biden don't shove the elephant cock of justice down their throats then fuck them too.
  22. Still amazed the State of Kansas has not represented yet in the moron parade of self-incrimination. I thought EMAWesome had this.
