  1. Average Americans and most politicians like simple solutions, but things like addiction, mental illness, and homelessness are complicated, intertwined, and require addressing many factors to reduce them to more acceptable levels. I doubt our extremely divided political and economic climate will be able to address them anytime soon on anything greater than a very local scale (where you might be able to reach a political consensus), if at all. I'm no expert, but off the top of my head, broadly to tackle homelessness since it was brought up. The main causes of being homelessness are the medical issues of addiction and mental illness and the economic issues of unemployment and high cost of housing. That doesn't even get to the less common issues like abuse that leads to minors running away and being homeless and a myriad of lesser issues that play into homelessness. Having housing affordable for those working a minimum wage job is the easiest part to solve in theory; however, how do you do this? Rent control? Public housing? Something else? Affordable housing is currently a huge issue affecting more than just the homeless. Unemployment in the current environment of high employment is related to lack of needed skills (training/education/apprenticeship), location (moving to where the jobs are which is expensive) and the medical issues (treatment/medication) that make it extremely hard to hold a job. In tough employment times you have to address creating new jobs and having a safety net to help people unable to find employment. Mental illness and addiction require treatment and medication that is very expensive in our current system. Then most importantly you have to have homeless people working hard to overcome these issues and take advantage of the programs and help available to them, which for the people with medical issues is especially difficult due to the lack of affordable treatment options and affordability of medications. There is no single magical solution to fix these issues. Shit is complex and requires addressing many factors. Something we lack a common political and economic will to fix at this time. So basically nothing will happen until bad times really hit most Americans like during the Great Depression. However, ff we could, it would lead to a lot of positives like higher quality of life for most Americans, families not being destroyed or damaged, a large pool of new workers to help the economy keep humming, etc. The problem is it requires making many changes and spending money today, for a hopefully, better tomorrow.
  2. She is the most favorably viewed celebrity or politician in America. Viewed positively by every group, even Republicans. It was two months ago, so after all the conservative negative news coverage, she is probably under water with Republicans now; but, probably not by that much.
  3. According to noted MAGA thought leader Nick Fuentes, having any sex is gay. Stay celibate if your straight all! Incels and manosphere followers think that a woman starts losing value at 25 and by 30 she is left overs in the marriage game. Every woman should aim to be married by 25. Also, if a woman has had more lovers than fingers on one hand she is low value and for the streets. These dudes radiate small dick energy and the next orgasm they give a woman will be the first.
  4. I thought his name sounded familiar. Josh Feuerstein was made fun of 8-9 years ago, on Youtube, for his religious stunts and idiocy. His Youtube is a gold mine of stupidity like these ( he got drug so hard he stopped posting videos there):
  5. And right after that he will bring peace to the middle east and end the eternal battle between cats and dogs.
  6. What a dumb ass. Women make up 50.5% of the population. In November 2020, more women voted than men in every state, but North Dakota, with Alaska even. The two states with the highest male to female ratios (AK 1.1:1; ND 1.03:1; U.S. .98:1). In 2024, probably even more women will be voting due to Roe. Another winning strategy from the geniuses in the GQP.
  7. Shouldn't the question be "What is not wrong with you Kentucky?" Much shorter list.
  8. I expect you will see a bunch of countries develop nukes since they realized that America is now an undependable ally depending on who is in the White House. That Trump has a chance to regain the presidency at all is a testament to the fact that everyone needs to prepare for a time that America does not honor it's previous commitments and nuclear protection. The easiest way to make sure you are never seriously messed with is to develop your nuclear capabilities. I am sure Ukraine has been kicking themselves since 2014 for turning over their old USSR nukes.
  9. I almost posted this video before in this thread and been subbed to this guy for awhile. Later in the video (`30 min) he addresses how many in the confederacy wanted to abandon "state's rights" and turn it into a Christian authoritarian slave state. History repeats itself once again.
  10. nm mispost
  11. Oops... The Secret Service was not a fan.....
  12. This is extremely surprising. The Supreme Court refuses to block an Illinois law banning some high-power semiautomatic weapons.
  13. It takes a certain amount of courage to kill yourself. Something almost all of the law enforcement there, that day in Uvalde, lacked.
  14. Touching your nose often is a sign of anxiety and/or uncertainty. This should surprise nobody who has watched him campaign awkwardly for the past year.
  15. Trump posted again about the clerk in his real estate case violating his gag order. The judge has informed both sides it will be addressed on Friday in court. Let's hope he spends some time in a cell.
  16. Joe told Netanyahu, "It appears that it was done by the other team, not you, but some people are not sure". Hope he is right and has solid intel that it was not the IDF; otherwise, and maybe regardless of the truth, he just stepped in it if it was not Hamas.
  17. Stern has been saying he was a good guest on his show, but he should never have been president and he has been a disaster as president and as an ex-president. He has been ragging on Trump for years since he started his run in 2015. I think he recently trashed Trump on his show once again. Milley did not know that was going to occur until they were pretty much there.
  18. 🤣🤣🤣 Trump might have violated copyright law and Fulton County sheriff could possibly sue him for his mug shot profits. Even better Trump has been threatening to go after people making money on his mug shot. Would be karma if they end up going after him and taking the millions he has profited from his surrenderdise.
