  1. Duvernay took his time to become a stud. He only caught 29 passes in his freshman and sophomore seasons. His junior year he caught 40 and then exploded as a senior.
  2. You would have to think he is healthy. 12 million is good value if so. Also Chas is a very solid number 8. His OPS is well above average. Pretty much equal to Benintendi
  3. Travis Hunter and Kevin Coleman have to be going.
  4. I’m surprised to hear that you like Ostra. I thought it was extremely below average. I would never go back.
  5. They’ve been cool on him for months from what I can tell.
  6. Toro and Cuiche are good spots as well and about a half mile but you have to walk under 37.
  7. Nonna Osteria and Dough are less than a half mile walk. Pinkertons BBQ is less than a mile. Maverick, Bar Loretta, Little Ems are about .75 miles. Then you have a lot of stuff on the Riverwalk. Biga on the Banks and Broudo’s are on the Riverwalk and my favorites on the river. Both are good places for a meal with coworkers.
  8. I think it reads as the daughter called and reported the crime and then located the fiancée.
  9. Not defending Beard but that doesn’t mean the police actually witnessed anything.
  10. Tell your wife to just use Spotify and play on phone.
  11. If we are going to sign a veteran starter, I think Eovaldi would be a great insurance signing. He’s from Houston, has not been the most healthy but I can’t imagine he would be making more than we were paying Odorizzi (or however you spell his name)
  12. All of this. I think if Maldy can catch 80-90 games next year that would be great. He is only making 4.5
  13. They own Cuishe right there as well. Very lively vibe and great drinks.
  14. @Helobious Although some aren’t truly defined as downtown, everything below would be considered downtown for the out of town game crowd Restaurants within 1.5 miles of the Alamodome. Dough Bar Loretta Little Ems Rosarios - new location should be open Upscale Maverick Pinkertons Within 2.5 miles Everything at the Pearl Breweries within a 1.5 miles Roadmap Alamo Blue Star Outdoor Bars Elsewhere Friendly Spot
  15. Most teams would love to go to a 6 man rotation but they would be starting a likely AAA equivalent starter. Go look around not many teams have 5 quality starters let alone 6.
  16. Harris will end up at Ole Miss, Tennessee , Miami or Florida State. I see a very small chance of him landing here.
  17. That’s a lot of words for a piece of shit to completely fabricate.
  18. As other have pointed out it’s a collective bargaining agreement. On top of that he will be 28, 29 in March when he is a free agent. If he continues as the 2022 Javier he will probably get something around $30 million a year and he will make another $10-15 million over the next 3 seasons. He’s not sitting out.
  19. He will get a bump to about 3.5 million. He isn’t a free agent until 2026 they still have a couple of years to work out a longer term contract.
