  1. McAdoo’s good seafood in the old post office.
  2. Every team has personnel holes. Hopefully Ol Gar can help scheme around those issues and not keep trying the same shitty scheme over and over again.
  3. In XOM for quite a few shares. What do we think the outlook for them looks like right now?
  4. We used Cutters in Westlake last year. Very reasonable and did a great job. Built hardscape beds around entire house and metal fence line. Then installed a ton of plants. We were going to do sod and turf in a small backyard with them but we ended up selling the house.
  5. I’ve been a couple times in the last year. It’s the same as I remember it. The group that owns Paloma Blanca in Alamo Heights bought them in 2017.
  6. Born in 85. I loved Garth as a kid. My first tapes and CDs were Garth. Haven’t listened to him in years, I don’t know if he is even on a streaming platform. Did go to his show about 5 years ago and it was a great sing along.
  7. Ya I looked at Denalis last month and the salesman told me they were leaving pretty significant options off of builds. No ventilated seats, no sunroof, no power lift gate. I eliminated the Denali because of that.
  8. $250/ head doesn’t seem bad. I know it’s corporate but I have sponsored a tent for years and it cost me $10k/year and I only get 6 passes a night and a shitty banner.
  9. Being new to SA and living right on the other side of 1604 what is this Stone Oak crowd? Should I be on a look out for them or am I one living in Hollywood Park and being a member at Sonterra?
  10. I like Myron’s off of NW Military.
  11. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1962-international-harvester-scout-80-14/
  12. Bought a house with a pool built in the 80s. We just started on a remodel. Adding a Baja shelf, new coping, decking, replaster with stone, new tile, new equipment and LED lights. It was a kick in the nuts on the price but still $80k less than building the same pool new. I’m pumped for it to be ready for the summer.
  13. It’s all about the “pit master” on the schedule. It college I worked at the 360 location. There were 4 guys in charge of the pits. 2 were above average, 1 guy was average and the other guy was complete shit head and never followed the pre determined smoking schedule and guide lines. Meat quality and the fire should be pretty consistent, so are the rubs. One thing that can really throw it off is how long it’s been in the pit behind the registers or steam holders.
  14. Ya I’d rather eat at Rudy’s in NB than either of those locations especially considering their pricing.
  15. Nice to know that your wife is banging the neighbor.
  16. You in a time machine? Yesterday was the 12th.
  17. We just moved to SA at the end of last year. I grew up in Houston and she grew up here. We met in Austin and lived there the last 18 years. I absolutely love it here. The food scene has plenty going on but some low spots are sushi and indian for us so far. We’ve found some good Thai and pretty good not great Pho place. Brewery scene is great. Mexican is can’t miss. BBQ has good spots. Endless burgers and steak options. Some good pizza spots as well. We moved to Hollywood Park and I love the area. It’s pretty damn convenient to every part of San Antonio. I can golf cart to 36 holes at Sonterra, Chester’s for a burger, El Mirasol for Mexican and Hoppy Monk for cocktails and craft beer. Plus housing is still reasonable.
  18. Ground pork ramen. Take on Ramen Tatsu Ya Miso Hot.
