  1. I’d have no problem towing a boat but a travel trailer at that weight would be a lot for the GX. We had a travel trailer around 5k lbs and my half ton is about as small as I would have been comfortable with. In the wind the walls of a travel trailer create a completely different towing experience.
  2. Chrysler has lost their mind thinking they are a luxury brand.
  3. We actually owned a house in Easton Park before we moved West. That’s why I said half. Easton Park, Riverside make up the half that isn’t poverty levels and they are floating the tax bill as well. Easton Park has a 3.1 tax rate. The rest of the district is very poor.
  4. Was in SA for work and went to Pinkertons today. Above average but not great or even good. I wanted to love it because he seems like he loves BBQ and the Horns. Sausage was average, cold slaw had no flavor. Brisket was good not great but it was a $40 meal with a Lawnmower. The location is dope and I’m not sure if the green space is theirs or the City of SA. They could have some cool music and the bar set up is nice. More Lamberts than a normal BBQ joint but still a walk through order process but bar is separate.
  5. It’s dusty in here. I’m sorry to hear it. He’s been a good boy and you’ve done him right.
  6. Del Valle having ridiculous facilities is the most shocking news of the day. Over half of the district is below the poverty line but the property tax rate is absurdly high. The district will experience tremendous growth over the next 5 years with all of the housing being built out there. I wonder if they are trying to go the LT or Eanes route and only having one high school.
  7. Listen to this man. They take care of you. Refinanced no cash out into 2.59 30 year fixed last month. Super easy, Phil’s team takes care of you.
  8. That property has to be worth more redeveloped than it sits as a mall today. I would tear it down and build a smaller outdoor set up with MF like the Domain or Hill County Galleria.
  9. Not to sound like a dick but the fact you have had 3 different trucks since 2015 with differing issues I would say they aren’t that reliable. My 2018 was a POS. I had turbo oil leaks and tech issues. Drove it a year and 25k miles and got rid of it.
  10. Salesforce can be a great tool for a sales team and the organization but like others have said it’s how these shitty organizations use it. It’s not about being held accountable it’s about tracking KPIs that do nothing besides lead to reps pencil whipping data which defeats the purpose. Sales is a very easy job to monitor to see who’s working and who isn’t. Making up bullshit numbers like you have to have 20 meetings a week, 2 new proposals just leads to nonsense. At least the dashboards and reports are easy with Salesforce, Hubspot was not great and any companies proprietary applications are usually very difficult to use.
  11. The fucking car wash at Barton Springs and Lamar was open yesterday.
  12. I know they have to be as general as possible but running a new energy efficient dishwasher takes way less water than hand washing dishes if that is the alternative. I know they suggested paper plates and plastic cups as well.
  13. I think it shows that Coleman has really done his homework on Texas and it might be even more a possibility than some thought.
  14. Anybody in Travis County WD 10? They claim they have been up since midnight but we have not seen a drop of water.
  15. She is defending this because we have a 9 week old puppy and she doesn’t want him to get sick.
  16. We have seen him there 3 times and have been probably 10 times. He is in the bar area a lot.
  17. Ya were melting snow in the master shower to flush the toilet and boiling the snow for the dogs to drink. We only had about 200oz of water when we lost water. Wife doesn’t want to let the dogs drink the snow.
  18. Pump station has no power here in Westlake so now we have no water at all. What is the play when they get water turned back on? I currently have multiple faucets dripping but now nothing is coming out because you know no water. Should I go around and close them all of leave them open?
  19. Ok that’s what we’ve seen at Lakeway as well. They told us $6k for a slip a few months back.
  20. This is intriguing. Where do you have a slip for $170? We live in the Lost Creek area so we wouldn’t want to be much farther out than Lakeway. The time limitations are the only thing I complain about. Would love some later evening rides. We could get out later and not have to worry about being back by 8.
  21. Not to be a dick but we just lost power for the first time about 20 minutes ago for the first time. Lost Creek area.
  22. This is my only issue with the club. But Nautical keeps only 2 year old boats that run around $100k for the wakeboard and $80k for other boats. I don’t want to tow a boat either. Our monthly total would be absolutely massive compared to the club. I also like getting back to the dock filling up with gas and bouncing to lunch or dinner. We never have to think about cleaning or insurance.
  23. I don’t think so.
  24. Edit looks like you can still do a membership for $1k to join but it’s probably weekdays only and no wakeboard or nice bow riders.
  25. We have been members at Nautical Lakeway since 2015, started in Volente. Our monthly is only $365 but they have gone up. Our initiation was $2600 then. They have tiered memberships now and all are over $4k to join. Some only give access on weekdays, some only allow pontoons and cheap bow riders, the top allows everything including the wakeboard boats. Also you have to commit to 12 months there is no 6 month obligation. We stick around because a slip rental is more than our monthly fee.
