  10. Install can be an issue but it’s pretty easy, that’s the main reason it has gotten so popular. It’s the water quality. The chlorine and chloride interact with the cross link polyurethane and causes chemical degradation.
  11. It’s completely taken over SF construction. CPVC is the standard on most commercial/ MF construction unless Unions are involved. PEX started as a piping for radiant floor heating in the US and is from Europe. They treat their water differently than we do. We add a ton of chlorine and chloride. There is some serious thought that PEX won’t be able to withstand those conditions in the long term just like the pin hole leaks in copper. Won’t even get started on water quality but it’s easier to install and we have no skilled labor anymore. There are going to be multiple class action lawsuits over PEX over the next 10 years but it all is being installed according to code.

  15. We hit up STK on Saturday. It was a great atmosphere and the food was on point. Hit up SpeedVegas and raced super cars. Gambled a ton. We stayed at Aria in the Sky Suites and we really enjoyed Aria and it was actually pretty convenient to a lot of other properties. Sports book at Aria is trash though.
  16. It was in Vegas. It was a blast and the coaches helped a ton with braking and hit the turns correctly. Already looked up events out at COTA. I think it’s something I definitely could get way in to.
  17. Just did a track day. I drove a Ferrari 488 GTB got up to 147 on straight away. Couple of buddies drove 911 GT3 RS and one drove a Lamborghini Huracan. The guys that drove the Porsche had lowest lap time. What a blast. I get all the hype
  18. Used to be the builder rep for Kohler. Kohler commercial toilets are the shit. Get a contractor to install one in the house with a commercial flush valve and you will be sitting high on the throne. https://www.us.kohler.com/us/browse/bathroom-commercial-bathroom-commercial-toilets/_/N-2d82

  21. You’re friend sounds like a pussy. Early 20s are what these jobs are made for. Just kidding, he was probably just more responsible than me. The first few years traveling I used it as an open tab to party in whatever city I was in. I’ve only been not traveling for the last few weeks. Biggest change for me is that I want to go have dinner with my wife now. After a 4 day trip she would want us to go out for dinner Friday night and I just spent the week doing that. I sucked it up most of the time but my waistline hated me. Be prepared to gain 15 pounds.
  22. I travel about 80 nights a year. We have no kids but are also about to make that transition. I just recently took a job to be in Austin/ San Antonio only because I couldn’t imagine keeping that up with a baby or kids at home. Also the road wears you down. I used to enjoy it but lately I just felt depressed looking around the lobby bar at all the other traveling work guys all on their phone eating and drinking in silence. It had to be better before smart phones. The tipping point was around 3 months ago I was riding with my boss and we looked at his lifetime Marriott status and he had over 4000 nights. That would be my next job and I am not looking to lose those nights on the road. Over 11 full years of his life in a Marriott alone.
  23. Bout sums it up
  24. Best place for a nice dinner 7 guys at a bachelor party? Early/mid 30s, money shouldn’t really be an issue.
