  1. The one thing that Brad Holmes has going for him from previous lions GMs is he seems to know how to draft. And has found some late round gems. Lots of draft capital this year and a ton of cap space to shore up the defense and the lions should be really solid next season. Finally some hope for lions fans
  2. Campbell with shit clock management again.
  3. Agree with all of this. The NFC seems much weaker than usual. Philly and San Fran are probably the best but both have holes. Minny and Dallas seem pretty fraudulent and the giants and bucs are just not good. Green Bay has a chance to make a run if they end up winning tonight. Makes me more pissed as a lions fan because I think they lions would have beat Minny and had a chance against most of the other teams in the playoffs. Really shitty time management cost them the games against Buffalo Minnesota Philly and Seattle. Better season that I expected from them (especially after starting 1-6) but stings that they aren’t playing for the playoffs right now.
  4. Up 3 with the ball at midfield and 5 minutes to go. Seattle with 1 time out. Instead Seattle gets an extra set of downs. Then Ramsey is a fucking idiot in OT but also probably should have been a penalty on DK after the “late hit” I know rules are rules but you should always be allowed to stand your ground on defense. These penalties and roughing the passer are getting out of control. You touch Brady, rodgers or mahomes and it’s a flag.
  5. What a shit ass roughing the kicker penalty to end the lions season. Only the lions can get knocked out of the playoffs in the most lions way when they aren’t even playing.
  6. So stoked the lions gave this dude up for a 5th rounder because he didn’t put up with fat Matt pat’s bullshit. Just ended their season on a horribly underthrown ball by shitheel baker.. I almost hope the lions lose to Green Bay now because fuck Seattle.

and he can head but Gregg as many times as he wants.
  8. I definitely feel this. But also Michigan has a lot of clout to push the big ten to say see ya to the ncaa once they and the SEC have their 16 teams.
  9. So apparently Harbaughs level 1 violation was buying a recruit a hamburger fries and a shake during a visit….. and then the ncaa found a receipt and he said he didn’t recall it
  10. an analyst didn't leave the field on time before a game, and harbaugh had a zoom call during covid dead period. THE HORROR. The NCAA is so dumb, its really insane to see what they take seriously and what they turn a blind eye to. Also michigan get a better compliance guy if you keep doing stupid shit.

So if true, Claudio has to get fired right? and how can Gio ever be allowed on the team again, no manager is going to want to deal with that shit. All in all its likely this is going to mean we have to bring Dipshit back so he doesn't sue the USSF saying some shit.

This has to mean the Reyna's right?
  13. Indy makes sense for sure. Carolina and Denver would be horrible spots to land. I don't think Jim wants to run a complete rebuild, but maybe, he is a lunatic. But going to Denver is just getting hired to get fired.
  14. This shit is wild. The Herd reporting Denver is going to offer him a 5 year 100 million contract, fully guaranteed. I guess that would be a reason to pick denver. Still Michigan should offer him 15 years 200 million with a 50 million dollar buyout if he leaves for the NFL. Let him raise his kid in the same place, retire at home and have generational wealth. But last year he said he was done with the yearly JIM TO THE NFL shit. Can't keep letting this happen.
  15. Lot to unpack in this one.
  16. They keep saying Denver. No decent coach is going to want to jump in and have to deal with russ having the ultimate say in everything. Also they are fucked for the next few years with no draft capital
  17. Yeah I love JJ but fuck. You can’t throw 2 pick 6s if you are going to talk shit. Love him saying they will be back. Next years team should be even better and lots of rumblings that corum is going to come back since he can’t combine and can make more (est 1.5 mil) from being the big dog NIL than being a 5th+ round pick. He can be a 5th round pick next year and clear another mil.
  18. I think once the playoff expands you may have a point. But currently only two conference champions made the playoff so the conference championships still mean something. No one is saying TCUs season isn’t a fantastic season. Just that if they lose to UGA I would prefer michigans season with the big ten championship. Again probably biased by watching Ohio state win 14 championships in 20 years. And Michigan 0
  19. The flea flicker has been a staple for the past two years and it definitely works well. The Philly special was an atrocious call on the two yard line for a team that prides itself on smashball. If you want to break tendency there line up big and play action to one of the TE or lineman. Can’t run a super slow developing play that takes you back 10 yards when you only need 2. Not only did they not score but they gave away the field position that made going for it make sense.
  20. I don’t think it is demeaning a team to say that a conference championship means something. TCU made the final, if they win it they had the best season of anyone. If they lose they have a season of almosts with really nothing to show for it except losing twice in championship games. Maybe I feel different because Michigan hadn’t won the big ten in literally 20 years, so winning the big ten is a pretty big deal. Michigan will get conference championship rings and put up another banner. Unless TCU wins next Monday they won’t unless they throw some runner up banners up. If TCU wins obviously you take TCUs season. But if next Tuesday you have Michigan 13-1 big ten champs and TCU 13-2 with two championship game losses, IMO it’s clear who had the better season. 10 years from now Michigan will still be 2022 big ten champs. TCU will be the team that beat the big ten champs and runner up to Kstate.
  21. K. It’s just funny hearing a fan of a 5 loss team making fun of a team that is back to back conference champions and in the playoffs.
  22. All he has to do is win the natty the next 3 years to get back over .500 in bowl games. If you count conference championship as post season he would only need to go back to back natties after 4 Peating for the big 10
  23. Sorry I didn’t know you were a TCU fan…. 13-1 conference champions vs 13-2 and non conference champion? Not sure about that.
