  1. I can't honestly believe this is a thing. Or that people are arguing about this. She crossed her arms after sitting in a room for fucking hours. You ever sit in a room for hours doing nothing? You start looking for new positions to sit in, fold your arms, etc. This is a fucking retarded "issue."
  2. "Hearings to appoint SCJ are a fairly new thing, we've only been doing them since 1916." Do these people actually hear themselves speak?
  3. Feels a lot like G1 of the TOR/CLE series. Just absolute heartbreak for a team that will probably force a short series. If JR Smith doesn't have a stroke, or Hill makes the second FT and they get the stop, this series is most likely going 6-7 games. Now, after Cleveland gives their best shot and still comes up short, it's REALLY hard for a team to get up and give that kind of effort again if history has taught us anything. Quick Points: -Not much else you can say about LBJ at this point. He's legitimately making the GOAT argument an actual debate, and for everyone who thought the torch was being passed to Durant last year, if anything the gap has widened between LBJ and anyone else in the league. -Cleveland's advantage on the boards was huge. Nance played a really good game for the minutes he had, Love was good on the boards as well. -KD probably won't shoot as poorly in the rest of the series. If he's ISOing and hitting the tough shots, tip your cap and move on to the next play. -A Charge was probably the correct call. However, when someone is 3-4 feet outside the restricted area, it's ridiculous that the Refs are able to review that aspect of the call. -Officiating remains as poor and inconsistent these playoffs as any year I can remember. Hopeful for a close G2, but realistically I see GS winning by a comfortable margin despite LBJ going for something close to a 35pt triple double.
  4. The problem is that this play shouldn't have been reviewed either. THEY CAN ONLY REVIEW THE PLAY IF THEY THINK THE DEFENDER WAS POTENTIALLY IN THE RESTRICTED AREA Once they are in a review determining the restricted area, they can then look and double check legal guarding position. But they can't just review it only on the basis of legal guarding position.
  5. Whenever someone says "6-0!", just give them the youtube link to this game. LBJ almost 1v5 the greatest collection of talent on a team in history and then JR Smith forgets the score.

  7. This is surprisingly correct. I can't think of another team off the top of my head that was THIS dominant and stacked talent-wise.
  8. The Cavs aren't beating either of GSW/Rockets
  9. LBJ dragging this team to the finals is immeasurably more impressive than MJ losing to the Pistons in the first round. Anyone who says that him losing this Finals will tarnish his legacy/GOATstatus does not understand basketball whatsoever.
  10. Jesus, Harden shoots 3-15 from deep, rest of the Rockets shoot 13-25. Can the supporting cast hits over 50% from deep again in G3?
  11. Something's wrong with Curry I think
  12. LBJ is the only person I can remember in the NBA who can put up 42/10/12 and people will say he quit, or that he "didn't do enough" for the Cavs to win. Anyone else, literally ANYONE else in the league now or in the last 25 years puts up those numbers, and it's an entirely different narrative about the player's effort in the game. We are so used to LBJ being so good, and we know he can play even better, that people criticize a game like last night.
  13. Even if they come back to win this series, LeBron is gone. Cleveland is a hot mess of shit. Zero positive contributions from anything that resulted from the Kyrie trade.
  14. Can someone explain how in the most important game of the season, Harden only plays 35 minutes? They had days of rest before Game 1, I don't understand it. Ya, he went down in the 1Q, but that was (imo) trying to sell a foul. If your best player is exhausted after playing 35 minutes, that's a big problem.
  15. This is fucking hilarious. "With Jeff Green"
  16. Whoa whoa whoa... easy there tiger... I'm not sure if this was just as bad a game the Cavs can play, or maybe they really aren't that good at all, and Toronto is just THAT bad against them.
  17. Is it ridiculous that that's just a "good" game from LeBron? The guy has a career average of like 28/7/7. I feel like anyone else in the playoffs goes for 35/13/10 and they're gods among men, but LeBron does it and we just expect it at this point.
  18. Replace Houston with Toronto, and Golden State with Cleveland, and ya... same narrative. The only team that pushed the Warriors last year was in the Finals, and they looked fucking unstoppable. Don't get me wrong. I'd love a seven game series with these two teams knocking down shots, but I just don't see any way that the Rockets win four out of seven.
  19. Ya but then they only had to worry about the other three players. LeBron will put up 35/8/10 and they will have to worry about four others instead. The image of LeBron vs Lowry/DeRozan total stats in the series was crazy to see.
  20. Lock the thread. If you're arguing against someone who thinks Kobe was better than LBJ, you're wasting your time. It's hard to win an argument against a smart person. It's impossible to win an argument against a stupid person.
  21. Id honestly be surprised if the series went six games. Warriors in five, Houston shoots 50% from deep to steal a game.
  22. MJ/LBJ is a legitimate debate. Kobe/LBJ is not a debate, at all. The Bulls struggled against Hakeem's Rockets even before Jordan's two-year "retirement."
  23. The Cavs are a lottery team right now without LeBron. KD would take them to the playoffs, sure, but the Finals? Very unlikely.
