  1. I’d also like to check Traverse City out. Have a friend that rented a house there this summer and they said it was awesome.
  2. Wife works for a company based in Wisconsin and travels there every month for a week for meetings and to work out of her office there. She has just about convinced me that we need a place in the Great Lakes region.
  3. My wife suggested we check out her Netflix sitcom. We made it less than two minutes before we bailed on it. Awful laugh track and schlocky humor.
  4. Are the onions part of the lovemaking or something to eat after the act?
  5. If you read the thread you would know.
  6. Do your children enjoy sugary breakfast treats and watching YouTube videos in an idling car?
  7. You would be guessing incorrectly.
  8. Saw that last night during the football game. My comment to the wife was “that should fix everything!”
  9. The good news is that Musk is well known for his generous acts of philanthropy.
  10. Do all of the Altimas have paper plates that expired in 2023?
  11. Of the ones listed, I would pick Pappas every time. Adding to your list, I would throw Guard and Grace into consideration. I’ve never had a bad meal there and the atmosphere is more contemporary if you’re tired of the typical staid steakhouse.
  12. That haircut makes him look like an AIDS patient.
  13. Lucky. The rule in our house growing up was “No church, no lunch!” There was no input into what the lunch was going to be, just the prospect of missing a meal.

  15. Interesting ad running at the bottom of this page. Surlyhorns.com brought to you by the fine folks at the Department or Homeland Security.
  16. And that he has a trans child that has very publicly criticized him.
  17. It’s unfortunate that viruses don’t respect state borders. While I applaud the initiative, if we keep marching in the current direction, it ultimately won’t do much to stop the spread of diseases that we considered to be eradicated.
  18. I don’t feel safe with the US military occupying the city I live in.
  19. Again, that’s not what’s being argued here. Do you or do you not support using our military in domestic law enforcement operations? If you do, why are you focused on Chicago instead of cities with higher crime rates?
  20. Hey, moron, that’s not what’s being argued here. You do know that it’s possible for two things to be true at the same time, right?
  21. How does that justify using our military for domestic law enforcement duties? I don’t call an electrician to unclog my toilet.
  22. I’m a bit of a weirdo in that I prefer Europe in the winter. A lot less crowded and I kind of like the change of pace on the weather since we don’t really get winter weather in Houston. We were in Copenhagen a couple of years ago during winter and we loved it. We would sit outside the hotel at their cafe tables and split a bottle of wine every evening. Just grab a blanket and they had heaters.
  23. I’ve had my mom pick up the phone and call Viking when they’ve booked them on less than desirable flights. The last one was a 6a departure from AUS with a three hour layover at ORD on the way to YYZ when AC offers a non-stop at a more reasonable hour of the day. Viking has accommodated the request to change to the more desirable flight every time she’s asked.
