It's true.  The ONLY financial requirement is that the car/owner carry the liability insurance minimums required by the state.  That's it.

That's it.  Can each car be "owned" by a single-asset entity?  You bet your ass.  Does that entity need to have a human being who has legal, even criminal, responsibility?  Nope.  Does that entity need to have a penny to its name other than 1) the car, and 2) the minimum insurance policy?  Also nope.

Each car is a judgment proof death machine carrying jack shit in insurance: "Texas law requires you to have at least $30,000 of coverage for injuries per person, up to a total of $60,000 per accident, and $25,000 of coverage for property damage. This is called 30/60/25 coverage."

An Elon Death Taxi can kill you dead, and your family gets $30k.  So sorry!

Just looked and those minimums haven’t been adjusted since 2011. Ridiculous.

I always get a kick out of dotard blasting any celeb, public figure, author, etc. as having "no talent."

What has he ever done artistically that would lead one to believe he has any creative capability at all? In his world, Lee Greenwood, Scott Baio, and Kid Rock have had a more lasting impact on music & film than Bruce, Taylor and De Niro.

The pee tapes are very artistic.

All the "adults" out there on the other side of this issue can't hold a candle to this high school freshman.

Good thing the adults are back in charge. Amirite?

Terrorists need social media too. Speaking of terrorists, farm attacks in South Africa are real and brutal, with some claiming whites are targeted due to racial motives like ‘Kill the Boer.’ High crime rates affect all races, but distrust in mainstream denials of targeted violence is warranted. Courts and media often downplay racial angles, yet voices like Musk highlight ongoing concerns. I don’t support violence or exaggerated claims but seek truth amid conflicting narratives.

    You left out white apartheid.

Yeah they just redid all the tap lines and stuff. The company that came and did that had a bunch of beers that came with the job and that's what it was. The dude knows beer, like I said he was at independence brewing for a while.

Instead of paying out of pocket to have the tap lines redone, they let the distributor do it in exchange for putting whatever the distributor wanted on tap. In the meantime, the first impression the bar gets online and in person is weak. In a competitive space, that seems penny wise and pound foolish. Feels like a bad area to cheap out on when your trade is selling, checks notes, beer.

Why not both? ASU looks like they’ll spend money as well. Put them back in the Big XII and they’d still never win the conference. The annual loss to Tech would be fantastic to watch. The Pirate would definitely be swinging his sword in the afterlife every year after that game.

lol. Uber drivers and Starbucks baristas are notoriously big donors to NIL.

Legit thinking about leaving the US for europe or australia

Not trying to be a dick because I don’t blame anyone for looking at their options, but nurse anesthetists don’t make nearly the kind of money that you’re accustomed to here in other parts of the world. You would have to learn to live on a greatly reduced salary and an increased cost of living. Not a great equation.

  9. Pit Room is highly inconsistent. When they’re on, they’re in the top tier of Houston BBQ. When they’re off, they’re really, really off. I took my in-laws from Portland there one time on one of the latter days and I was flat out embarrassed by how bad it was.

Edit to add that Truth has dinner hours nowadays and the line isn’t as much a factor in the evenings as it is at lunch when everyone shows up at the same time.

For whatever this is worth, we have Waymos all over Phoenix. People I know ride in them all the time. As far as I know the news has reported literally zero issues.

Why does anyone give a fuck about Tesla taxis that don’t really exist and may or may not work? The service already exists and it works great.

Waymo uses a completely different technology than Tesla. Waymo has also completed millions of paid rides. I would ride in a Waymo vehicle. I would not ride in a Tesla robotaxi.

And then getting called out, and then hilariously outing itself.

Do you honestly believe that had any impact on the people on twitter that you think need to be reached? I don’t.

No. Twitter is not a bar, and I am lecturing.
Even in its current state, twitter is the world’s most important and influential attention gathering platform, and attention is the currency of politics in 2025. We withdraw at our peril, for multiple reasons.

Gonna have to disagree with you on that one, chief. It’s a cesspool of disinformation and propaganda and its chatbot is spewing white apartheid drivel now.

Just got my haircut and my barber (here near Raleigh where I live) was asking for a recco on barbecue for when he goes down with his kid for a football tournament at Rice. I have no clue - what’s the best spot in or near Rice Village?

Nothing in Rice Village. Closest would be Goode Co and it’s trash. Truth is less than 5 miles from Reckling Park. Tell him to go there.

Considering the clearance rate for homicide cases is only slightly better than 50% nationally, I would say finding the suspect in less than two months is pretty decent.

So, when you're having dinner tonight with your wife and the mother of your children, and you've just broadcast to the world that she is in the top 1% of freaky women, in history, what do you talk about?

And, how much time must pass before it's ok to make clever jokes and smartass comments?

Are you calling a woman who was abused and taken advantage of freaky?

  17. Man, I hope there’s someone sane in that family that can take care of and raise the other kids. They have no shot otherwise. Then again, they should have stepped in before mom was buying her son tactical gear for a school shooting in exchange for babysitting services.

I did roast the shit out of a friend from Houston who is still rocking his Texas plates after 2 years here. Just renews his sticker at his folks’ house

Bro, just pay. I know it’s like $800 but do it.

I was very cautious until I got my CO plates as a driver. Now I’m a menace with my green and whites lol

When I moved to AZ, I kept my TX plates until I bought a new car. At the time, my TX registration was $55/yr versus $1k in AZ.
