  1. This. Especially when the facts are malleable. There’s not even agreement within the regime on the facts. The DNI and POTUS have contradicted each other in public within the last week.
  2. Thank you, @Pods. There’s been a strange hero worship of Mormons on this site for a long time. I’ve always figured the people doing it only had surface level knowledge or some guy at work that seemed like a nice guy. I spent a little over five years working in heavily Mormon communities in Utah and Idaho and my impressions more closely mirror your examples than the whitewashed experiences people around here post about. Working in healthcare, specifically, women’s and children’s, I have plenty of stories that would make people sick.
  3. No daylight savings time in Tehran?
  4. Personalities can definitely change after a stroke. My dad became much more laid back and less grumpy after he had a stroke. My FIL became much more emotional where he tears up at the drop of a hat when he was completely stoic prior.
  5. What about Melania?
  6. Under the Plumber category.
  7. I’m getting sick of reading this line in media coverage. We know exactly why these arrests are happening.
  8. We’re a long way from his campaign promise of ending the wars in Gaza and Ukraine prior to even taking office.

A little more accurately, it sounds like he’s copying the playbook of what John Lewis is doing in South Carolina. Parlaying his experience at La into an all-day venture outside of Texas.
  10. This. Once the billionaires got in bed with Trump, he no longer had any use for low level millionaires.
  11. Well, when you put it like that.
  12. There’s always a tweet.
  13. How many dates does it normally take for her to give it up?

  16. There’s a taco truck in my neighborhood with a sign advertising “choise” of meat.

Silly you for buying the cancer policy. It gave you cancer.
  18. Some of the smartest, most brilliant people I know and have had the privilege of working with during my career have been physicians. Some of the dumbest, most frustrating people I know are physicians. It’s a bell curve in every profession.
  19. He’s doing you a favor.
  20. Transgender for Everybody!
  21. So many 2BR homes in 78703 and 78746.
  22. This. I think most people would be astounded at the level of involvement of attorneys in setting clinical guidelines in hospitals.
  23. Fuck the Dodgers. Always.
