  1. Here’s a summary I found. Meta tightens privacy policy around Ray-Ban glasses to boost AI training lol. A cousin appears in one of his photos.
  2. Were you scoping out parts of the park to buy?
  3. China was never super high on my list until my wife’s recent trip there. She loved it and her excitement about the trip when she returned home was infectious.
  4. Perhaps, but apparently he has no qualms doing business with known shit bags.

While I agree with you, what’s the point of engaging with a troll and giving him what he wants? You’re spent infinitely more time engaging him than he deserves. His brain is broken.

From what I’ve read about Pecan Lodge lately, Dickey’s might be on par these days.
  7. You stood in line for 45 minutes for a brisket sandwich?
  8. Was India standing under Pakistan’s tent or vice versa? Hopefully they keep their nukes stowed in their gym bags.

This. Just neg and move on. Don’t give the troll air to breathe.

As others have mentioned, SLC proper is a bit of an outlier in Utah. The city itself is small in population, like only 200k or so, and the metro area is comprised of a lot of smaller municipalities surrounding SLC proper. There’s a pretty large progressive community in SLC and the LGBTQ+ community is pretty strong. In a previous career stop, Utah was part of my business unit and one of the best physicians that I had working for me was a very open lesbian who I recruited from Portland. She is married to another healthcare provider that works for the University of Utah. They were very happy raising their family in SLC. The problem is, like Texas, religious fanatics control the state government and exert their influence mightily.
  11. All pretty good takes except for Burger Joint. What in the ever living fuck have you ever found redeeming there? I keep trying to like it because it’s the closest burger place to my house, but every burger I’ve ever had there has been under seasoned and dry. It’s to the point that I only order it off of Uber Eats because I’m drunk at 3a and I somehow forget how shitty it is and then wake up regretting not ordering a patty melt from Whataburger.
  12. Pete, is that you? Let’s find a time for happy hour. I’ll hit you up on Signal.
  13. I guess we will find out somewhere around 2035 given his track record of over promising and under delivering. When that time does come, I wouldn’t be someone taking a dump in one.
  14. Losing $200 million of taxpayer funded assets in six months isn’t enough for someone to get fired?
  15. Answer the fucking question, deacon.
  16. Pretty much sums up my feelings about it. The patio is comfortable now and is a good spot when the DJs are too loud.
  17. I’m generally annoyed by people that let their pets roam the neighborhood unabated, but I have a soft spot for a little black cat that belongs to some neighbors behind us. He’s a little too good at hunting apparently because his owners put a collar with a bell on him awhile back. Watching him on our security cameras at night cracks me up. He has the same routine of patrolling our house every night. If something is out of place it really bugs him. Nothing pisses him off more than if someone is staying overnight and their car is parked in our driveway.
  18. Bezos is going to enjoy the Tetons.

But is it better than Franklin?
  20. People in AZ fucking love Rocky Point. I lived in PHX for nearly 20 years and went there one time and that was plenty for me. So many better places to go in Mexico, but people love that they can drive there.
  21. Because voters in Arlington keep voting to give billionaire owners handouts.
  22. It’s going to be Trump.
