  1. I read somewhere that their AD and football coach each make somewhere in the neighborhood of $250k. I couldn’t find anything on Bucky, but it wouldn’t surprise me if he was making $150k or less. He went straight from being a HS coach to being head coach at the collegiate level. Since he never spent any time as a collegiate assistant, any bump up from being a HS coach would have been pretty significant for him. He hit the lottery with the aggies. It’s like Jed Clampett striking oil.
  2. I’m not seeing much talk regarding tariffs on raw materials. So even if you believe that tariffs will bring back domestic manufacturing, the only way to avoid tariffs is to source every single material that goes into your product domestically. It is impossible to think of a scenario where this economic policy doesn’t increase costs to Americans.
  3. I thought it was just a place that women go to get pics for instagram and the food is an afterthought. I’ve never heard of a dude eating there and I live about a mile away.
  4. Feels a little bit like the victim’s family is trying to set the narrative and get out ahead of something. I could be wrong. Either way, it’s a shit situation and Karmelo escalated the situation when he pulled a knife.
  5. When you’re worth nearly $200 billion, losing 10% of your net worth in the short term is nothing. In the long term, it’s a good investment that allows guys like Zuck to further consolidate their power to be able to influence policies to their liking and benefit. They’ve found their useful idiot and are manipulating him without any pushback. Look no further than Russia to see how cozying up to Putin has benefitted that country’s oligarchs. We are no longer a country for the common man.
  6. Oh, no! How will they possibly pay their bills this month? I’m not sure someone losing $110 billion in net worth and still being worth $322 billion is deserving of a victory lap. Rather, it’s an indictment of our country becoming an oligarchy.
  7. There are links to the Pizza shop lady and the father’s gofundmes in multiple articles I’ve read online. I wouldn’t have known about them otherwise.
  8. Make Flip Phones Great Again!
  9. And yet those countries are facing the highest tariffs due to the formula being used to calculate the tariffs that has no connection to tariffs charged by the exporting country. The US is punishing poor countries that manufacture low cost items for us that we can’t cost effectively produce within our own borders. I don’t see a huge market for F150s in Cambodia so they’re just fucked.
  10. Agree with you on gofundme. They all strike me as scammy and the for profit nature of the platform helps support my feeling. As for the second, you don’t know who Idi Amin is? Look him up and then watch the Last King of Scotland. It’s a great movie. And Ana calling anyone broken brained or psycho without even a hint of irony is hilarious.
  11. Gotta love America, a country where tech bros have figured out a way to profit off of fundraising. Why don’t people just give money directly to the beneficiary instead of funneling it through a platform that takes a cut?
  12. Could’ve done a better job mentoring him in the picking out a partner department.
  13. That casino analogy hits a little close to home when you consider the current occupant of the White House’s history in that arena.
  14. Negotiate what, Mr. President? Give specific examples.
  15. But some cunt in Kentucky thinks it’s funny when Donnie trolls Canada.
  16. Maybe ditch Twitter as your source of information? Does it not strike you that this is a great example of how your algorithm is feeding you garbage sources? Instead it appears that you’re doubling down on Twitter being a legitimate source of information.
  17. Black kid stabbed white kid. #endwokeness
  18. No, dude, pretty much everyone has posted what a terrible and senseless tragedy this is and how our society has devalued human life. You’re catching flak for the screenshot that is from a known MAGA provocateur that regularly posts misinformation to push a right wing narrative. It’s a highly partisan source and is pushing a divisive narrative. By posting that, you shift the discussion from the event to the narrative that is being pushed by that account. I read your post shortly after you posted it and shook my head in disbelief that you would post something from that account. It was super late at night/early in the morning so I thought maybe you were drunk so I just moved on. You see the screenshot preview before you hit post so it makes it difficult when you feign ignorance for what you posted.
  19. I don’t think Elon has any partners so he’s not at risk.
  20. VAT had nothing to do with the calculation of the tariffs.
  21. What are your thoughts now that it is being confirmed by multiple outlets that the numbers are, in fact, based on a made-up metric?
  22. “Most” Americans don’t give a shit. They only care about themselves and have zero worldview. Not even half of Americans have a passport.
  23. Where do I find the countdown to liberation?
