  1. Lived in Fort Collins for a while, and my eldest son was born there. GO RAMS!!!
  2. You mean he's not going to take that aggy job once Jimbo is shitcanned? Don't blame him, I wouldn't, either.
  3. Yeah, that 2005 team was probably the best Texas team I've ever seen in my lifetime up to this point. It does feel like things are trending the right way again. I think this team has a lot of potential, and if Sark keeps hauling in top-shelf croots and some quality transfer portal pieces, we may reach a point where we see a team close to on par with the 2005 team. But we're not there yet.
  4. Oh shit, I forgot about the crazy weird Rig 12 farewell tour schedule this year. My bad,
  5. Good win, but we cannot be looking like dogshit for three quarters against ou or Okie Lite. We'll get our asses handed to us. Hope we step it up in conference play.
  6. Kevin Mar is a Nebraska grad. Given all of Bohl's ties to Nebraska, plus the general hate boner the conference has for Texas, the ref bias here has never been more obvious.
  7. Shittastic execution on offense during the first two quarters. Someone missed an assignment on defense on Wyoming's touchdown drive. Not impressed so far. Hope they pick it up in the second half.
  8. Lots of comedy gold in the TexAggy tears today, but this one might be my favorite: Seriously...they think they're going to come up with $100 million to buy out Jimbo and his assistants, and then another $100 million to lure Coach Prime to Collie Station? Fuck, and I thought cannabis was illegal in Texas. They're smoking the REALLY good shit in aggyland.
  9. Yep. Keep it up, and these dudes are gonna make a lot of bank playing on Sundays before long.
  10. No worries, I'm not offended. I got this stuff at a 7-11 in Osaka. I know it is cheap shit. Purely a sentimental memento of our trip there. It's probably more the fact that I had to ride on a goddamn airplane for 14 hours to bring it back from there, so it means a teeny bit more.
  11. I brought home some of this stuff from Japan earlier this year. Not nearly as expensive as some of the fine scotch I've seen posted here, but I've been saving it for...something. Tonight's the night. About crack this baby open and drink up to an incredible Longhorns victory. Cheers to you all, no matter what you're drinking tonight!
  12. Is he a closet aggy? That's exactly the same sort of copium the smoothbrains over at Texags are saying tonight.
  13. That close(r than it should have been) game against Rice last week isn't looking so bad now. Rice may actually be somewhat decent this season.
  14. Yep. I noticed at least one play where he had a guy open about two yards from the endzone. If he had thrown it to him, it would have been an easy TD. Instead, he threw it to the guy who was double-covered in the endzone. Pass incomplete, surprise surprise,.
  15. Oh, so tackling our receivers before the ball arrives is allowed now. Cool.
  16. Brooks has to catch that shit. That would have been an easy 6.
  17. Especially in the second half of whatever game we play the week before Okie Lite.
  18. Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. Not a fan of this shit. Hard to read.
  19. Take that, refs. We'll fucking score anyway.
  20. As I've said before, if Beard is guilty as charged, then his ass needs to be gone. But I'm fine with the process the administration is using. Suspend him until we have all the facts and a clear understanding of what happened. Then if the facts do indeed bear out that Beard had culpability in the situation, then yes, fire him under the conduct clause of the contract. You don't want to fire him prematurely, though, and then have it come out later that his firing happened to be unjust. If that were to happen, we would never be able to land another coach worth a shit here. So yes, caution and due process is an absolute must, even if it means that things are proceeding slower than we would like.
  21. Leach was one of a kind. I used to dread the week Texas would play Tech every year when he was coaching there. He truly was a mad genius, and he almost single-handedly made football more entertaining with his innovations. Sad I never made it down to Key West to perhaps randomly bump into him at some bar down there. He seemed like he would have been an amazing person to talk to. His quotes and takes were legendary. He will definitely be missed. Pour one out for the Pirate. 🤘
  22. I thought Freeze got in trouble for using his university-provided phone to arrange sex with hookers? Fuck me, I can't keep up with all the scandals these days.
