  2. Would definitely second Pine State Biscuits. OX Argentinian Restaurant - won a James Beard Award a few years back. They also used to have a food truck selling grilled meats out front on weekends. Kells Irish Pub - pours a nice Guinness but they’ve also got a nice downstairs cigar lounge with solid spread of stogies. There are a million breweries so just walk 10 ft. or look up a curated list. But a solid drinking alternative is the selection at Multnomah Whiskey Library. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  11. El Salvadorians say: "Hijo de la gran puta" Which is not just saying you're a son of a whore, but son the the biggest town whore. The whore's whore if you will. A funny comedian once said --that means if there was a whore parade, your mom would be the gran marshal every fuckin year.
  12. This cracked me up. I've definitely seen a lot of Texas license plates the last couple weeks out here.
  13. One time I visited a friends house and saw the end of the rainbow in his pantry -- a treasure chest of the best snacks known to mankind: gushers, pringles, cokes, fruit by the foot, dunk-a-roos, Dorito fun packs... It was a sight to behold and I knew they had to be rich.
  14. A famous university chancellor once opined: "I find that the three major administrative problems on a campus are sex for the students, parking for the faculty, and athletics for the alumni." This thread is exact proof of that quote.
  15. If the price of another national championship is the Eyes of Texas, then so fucking be it.
  16. For a nice dark rum I like Appleton Reserve or 12yr in my mai tais. Also Pyrat XO is usually a great value under $30.
  17. The state health dept has actually advised people not to visit mountain towns and rural areas in Colorado. I guess you didn't' hear about the Mexican nationals who went on a skiing trip near Vail and basically brought back COVID with them. But hey knock yourself out, lol.

  22. bump. I've heard that St. Germain or Maraschino liqueur are good subs for triple sec/orange liqueur. Has anyone tried this?
  23. Le Merle is probably one of my top 5 favorite beers. Superb.
  24. At a PtY tapping in Denver. So many more places releasing now around the country, this is my 3rd & 4th pour!
