I never really understood our ridiculously high preseason ranking. We sent how many guys to the NFL off last year's team? Plus the year before that? Brand new O-line who have next to no starts. New receivers who haven't proven shit. And Arch hadn't proved a fucking thing. Yet we're supposed to be #1?
Is it next score wins if the Rams kick a FG or do you just get to play until time runs out? Because that might encourage you to go for it and not kick if the 9ers can just get the ball, kick a long ass FG, and win.
Bijan now has 3 100+ receiving yards in his career. Since he entered the league in 2023 all the other RBs in the NFL combined only have 4.
The only active RBs with more 100+ receiving yard games are CMC and Kamara. They both have 5 apiece. Both of those guys entered the league in 2017.
The record for most 100+ receiving yard games by a RB is 8, by both Marshall Faulk and Timmy Brown. Faulk played for 12 seasons and Brown played for 10.
Surely Drumpf and Co. are gonna have a rally memorial for them, too, right? Fireworks. Nazis yelling about their divine right to rule. All that good stuff. Right?
It's either Baker magic or Baker stupidity.
Meanwhile, the Falcons sneak out with a win. Penix looked very good and Bijan looked like a god as usual. Coaching was still ass from the Falcons, but you can't work miracles in a week.
