  1. Amari Cooper been havin' himself a day.
  2. Bijan starting the 2nd half strong. Breakin' ankles.
  3. 32 yards on Bijan's first touch in the game.
  4. Yeah, I think Pitts and London are fine players and would look better with a better QB/play caller, but the Falcons passed up on those guys you mentioned and other all-world talents like Parsons, etc. Just inexcusable if you're going to spend every game having your TE2 throw to your TE3 while your #4 overall pick blocks. They could have had Jalen Carter this year instead of Bijan. And for a team that can't pressure/sack the QB that would have been a pretty good pickup. Ridder is 8 points higher in QBR than Wilson. He has a much better O-line. He's got Bijan. He's got two top 10 picks to throw the ball to. He's thrown 3 more picks than Wilson and fumbled one more time. And not that turning the ball over is ever something you want, but Ridder does it in the redzone more than anyone else. There are about four games this season the Falcons lost that they should have won that directly are on Ridder being an idiot with the football.
  5. Nothing the Falcons have done since Art Smith took over has made sense, honestly. They had an old Matt Ryan and needed to get a QB of the future. They instead picked a TE #4 overall. The only way you make that pick is if you have a crystal ball that can show you the future and ensure the kid is the next Gronk/Kelce. Then they draft a WR #8 overall. They stupidly make a noise like they want to give Deshaun the Rapist a huge contract. This pisses Ryan off so he bails and you end up starting a garbage/end of his career Mariota. Dude doesn't even last the season and you have to start the 3rd round kid. Then, this year when you have no franchise QB and no edge rusher to speak of (the two most important positions on the field), you draft Bijan. When you already have two solid RBs on the roster. You then decide to push all your chips in on Ridder who has never looked anything other than ass. You don't make him fight for the spot and you hardly play him in the preseason. So how has all that worked out? Ridder is almost leading the league in turnovers. He's garbage. You hardly get the ball to any of your three Top 10 picks and instead mainly get the ball to Jonnu Smith and the backup RB. Bijan is used as a decoy more than he actually touches the ball. You have the easiest schedule in the NFL and every week you lose to another bottom of the barrel team. This means that even though you play in the worst division in football, you're going to miss the playoffs yet again. Sad part is, the Falcons have a Top 10 defense and the playmakers on offense to be really good. Just their QB is basically the worst in the league and their head coach is a fucking moron who has no idea how to call plays/run the team. If they fire Smith, go get a QB, and draft a DE with their fourth Top 10 pick in a row they could make some noise next year. Though Blank seems like a sleepy, "well his daddy is my billionaire buddy so we gotta give him a chance" idiot so I imagine this shit show gets extended for another year until it's well and truly fucked.
  6. I never want to hear about the Rangers paying for a title ever again. A cool billy on two players. Two.
  7. That catch was fucking sick.
  8. And as long as he ain't living in Cali when the deferment payments start, he doesn't get taxed like crazy on those either. Fucking Ohtani out here playing 4D chess. Dude doesn't need the money, he's already filthy rich because of endorsements, etc. Gets to let the Dodgers keep a team around him to go win. Then he gets a huge lottery ticket when he's done playing. Gets to skip most of the taxes. Buys his own baseball team because he's a essentially a billionaire. Genius.
  9. I'd have some sympathy for Mahomes if he wasn't a) begging the refs for a flag after every incomplete pass and b) playing games going out of bounds looking for PF calls. Your teammate is an idiot, Patty. He lined up basically with the defense. You lost. Be a professional and be about your business. Throwing hissy fits is for underachieving, diva WRs, not franchise QBs.
  10. Falcons fans are gonna look back on this season and want to burn everything to the ground. Easiest SOS in the entire NFL. Lose almost every game by one score because they continually shoot themselves in the dick. You cut out just half of the boneheaded plays and stupid decisions and this team is 10-3 looking to fight for the #1 seed in the NFL. Instead, they're looking at missing the playoffs in the most inept division in football.
  11. Bijan with a 33 yard amazing run and then punches it in for the TD.
  12. To go along with this:
  13. Atlanta just doing Atlanta things. Ridder turning the ball over. Ridder giving up a safety. Their all-world kicker has missed two FGs. And 4/5 offensive line starters are now out. Bijan, I'm sorry bro. But you should have dropped in the draft. Would have helped your career out immensely.
  14. Haney found some pop with the extra five pounds up at 140. He's working the fuck outta Prog right now.
  15. No, that ain't assuming shit other than he plays baseball. Some of you guys don't seem to understand. This dude is an institution. They fucking play updates of his performances on the trains in Japan. He's Messi, Lebron, and Tom Brady rolled into one for Japanese people. That's an entire race of people who religiously follow one guy. Hell, the sports media dudes from Japan were worried the Blue Jays were going to get him because it meant having to move their asses to Toronto because their full time jobs are Ohtani. They have a camera at his games for Japanese TV that just stays on Ohtani the entire game. Outside of the Japanese, you ask any sports fan in America who Ohtani is, they know. Meanwhile, they couldn't name you three other guys in the league unless they specifically are fans of baseball. This dude, as long as he suits up and takes the field will print money for the Dodgers. He'd have to regress to an average MLB hitter plus not be able to pitch before Americans lost interest and the Japanese would still be on him 24/7. And they've already said the money is going to be stretched out. They aren't actually paying him $70 mill a year. He's going to be collecting checks long after he's done with baseball.
  16. Seriously. As long as he doesn't die or somehow become completely unable to play baseball over the next 10 years, he's going to make that organization a filthy amount of money. And that's if they don't win shit. If they do start to win rings? Fuggitaboutit.
  17. But it shouldn't be, right? There are a gazillion FCS teams in like 13 conferences. They have a legitimate playoff system and everyone is happy with it. It's what needs to happen in FBS. Make two conferences with some divisions. Winners go to the conference playoff (with some wildcard spots thrown in). Conference champs play for the Natty. Simple. Effective. Probably will never happen because it would mean the people at the top giving up the power to unilaterally do shit like keep a blue-blood undefeated program out because they won't bring in the same TV money.
  18. Well it isn't in the lower CFB leagues. Somehow there's never a bit of controversy in FCS ball and nobody gives a flying fuck about SOS, the eye test, or completion percentages. I wonder why.
  19. I still think Saban benched Milroe not because he was panicking but because he wanted to shut up all the idiots calling for Milroe's head. Like, you think Milroe sucks? Ok, fine. Here's the other guy against lowly USF and you can see how shit we are. My only gripe with FSU not making it in is that they got punished for shit that was out of their control. They scheduled two P5 OOC opponents. Both from the SEC. Beat them both. Normally Clemson would have been a big win. So, in a normal year, their SOS would have been fine. Of course, they probably would have dropped a game in that case, but that's hypotheticals. They can't help that their QB got hurt near the end of the season. They went out and won anyway. Meanwhile, you've got teams like Georgia who scheduled powerhouses like UT Martin, Ball St., and UAB. Other than us, Alabama scheduled the mighty Blue Raiders of Middle Tennessee St., South Florida, and the world beaters down at Chattanooga. And then they strugglebeared with beating teams like Auburn and Arkansas. You're splitting hairs when trying to say Team X's resume is better than Team Y's or this team is better now than this other team. FSU won on the field.

    2023 Heisman

Without Daniels LSU was about a 3 win football team. He deserves the award and it ain't close.
  21. The ACC was awful. And yet they had a 6-4 record against the SEC this year.
  22. Has nothing to do with hating us and everything to do with the $EC always having spots. This shit has been going on since the BCS era.
  23. I think we're wildly lucky that FSU's QB wrecked his leg. The committee was always going to shove an $EC team into the playoff whether they deserved to be there or not. Travis going down gave them the excuse to kick the Noles. If it wasn't them it was going to be us. Gotta have their sweet, precious, E$PN backed team in there no matter what. Good to know you can lose by double digits at home, barely squeak by USF, need a last second hail mary to win versus a 6-6 squad, and still get a spot in the CFP over an undefeated P5 conference champ.
