  1. Charlo has nothing for him. Canelo has had one game plan for a long time now. He uses that Mexican beef and is bulked the fuck up. Just wings power shots over and over. Lots of them don't land, but a bunch do. And these guys around 168 can't handle it. They don't have the power to worry Canelo who has a chin almost on the level of Triple G. So he just swings away and eventually these dudes crumble like Charlo is doing right now.
  2. Finally! Now just keep Aroldis off the mound for the postseason and this team might actually win something.

    Fuck ou

Wow, look at the time! And wouldn'tcha know OU still fucking sucks. Fuck the Dirt Burglars.
  4. We've gone from praying for a bend-but-don't-break defense to just straight up break their face defense. It's nice to finally have that back on the 40.
  5. We don't do that here.
  6. Goodness, our defenders are giving the Jayhawks no breaks.
  7. That's just gonna send the aggy coaster higher! I'm so going to enjoy us tearing up the $EC and accomplishing more in one season there than Aggy has in their entire time there.
  8. Georgia and Auburn tied at 20. Might be #2 behind Michigan after today.
  9. Baxter needs a lot of work. Like, a lot.
  10. Hey now, what the fuck do ya'll think you're trying to do? Freaking out is a time honored and cherished tradition in game day threads. It's what makes this place great. Don't fuck with that shit. What happens in the game day thread stays in the game day thread.
  11. I'm still on a week at a time. Gonna start drinking reeeeeeeeeeeeeal early next week.
  12. But I haven't soaked up all the vodka yet!
  13. I remember some of the day games at DKR back in the day when I was a student. I'm sure they've only gotten worse since then.
  14. That Jayhawk defense has no gas left. Just shove Brooks down their throats for the rest of the game and don't let Ewers goof this up for us.
  15. I'm totally fine with us just running Brooks for this entire next offensive series until we put 6 on the board.
  16. Nice to see that we're still RB-U here. Nice blocking on that one, too.
  17. I love how this is the one war that is a war too far for the Republicans. A hundred fucking years of beating the war drums for any threat, any perceived slight whatsoever. But now that there's a Democrat in office and because the prime backer of the Republican party and their cult leader is getting his ass kicked by the Ukrainians, out come the doves of peace. Republicans never met a conflict they didn't enjoy dumping piles of taxpayer money on to kill as many yellow or brown people as possible in the name of free-dumb, but now all of a sudden the Treasury can't bear the fucking expense. The conflict can be over tomorrow. All Putin has to do is bring his conscripted slaves back across the border to Russia where they belong. Remind me to never trust a Republican to guard my back if America ever gets invaded. You turn around and the next thing you know they'll be licking the invader's fucking boots.
  18. Lots of coaches aspire to be Ferentz. Find yourself an in at a middling organization where there are next to no expectations. Then you work on exerting your control over everything so your position becomes near unassailable as long as you aren't absolutely awful. Ferentz is pretty damn good at it, but the absolute master was Jeff fucking Fisher. Dude lasted forever in the NFL off of one fluke kick-return and being a good ol' boy for an organization/city who was just happy to have a team.
  19. Fucks sake ya'll are dumber than fucking dog shit. Are you all Aggies in fucking disguise who have jumped ship over here since the Jimbo-era? Sub 4.4 is a regular occurrence now in the NFL. That's not super special magical Christmas land anymore. IMHO, which you all can disagree with, Xavier's only top NFL talent as of right now is his speed. And has he proven to run a 4.2? I honestly don't know, maybe one of ya'll does. He's definitely fast. But lots of guys are fast. And if you're going to quote me to talk shit, don't edit it. That's what I said. And it's the truth. https://ftw.usatoday.com/lists/2022-nfl-combine-wide-receiver-40-times-tyquan-thornton-so-dang-fast So in last year's draft alone, three dudes at wideout ran 4.2 times. TWELVE dudes ran under 4.4. So speed is not something that is lacking in the WR department when you go to draft a player. How is that so difficult for you to understand? Goddamn, if you don't drop to your knees and open wide to receive our player's dicks around here then out come the pitchforks. I will gladly admit after perusing the last couple of drafts which I don't religiously keep up with that the NFL is going towards smaller receivers. And some teams have made some seriously questionable draft picks of WRs in the first couple of rounds. Probably because they're all desperately trying to conform to the new "RBs are pointless, throw it 50 times a game" meta in the NFL. I still don't think, as it stands right now, Worthy is a top round guy. Way too inconsistent. And the idea that he hangs in the league for 10 years is fantasy land since hardly anyone does that anyway, but especially in today's NFL where they'll just throw you on the trash heap and draft another guy who is way cheaper. At any rate, done with this silly nonsense.
  20. And that's, what do you call it? A strawman? A red herring? I don't know, one of those. Since the argument wasn't about how good he was for us or where he ranked in the history of Texas receivers. My argument was saying he's a stone-handed speed guy without the talent to be an upper round, 10 year NFL guy. Which isn't crazy. Hardly anyone is a 10-year NFL guy. Somehow me thinking he's not a super-elite route runner has devolved into a dogpile where it looks like I hate the kid. I don't. I think he's great. I just think the koo-laid drinkers need to chill a bit. First on comparing this team who struggles with Wyoming to the Vince led, undefeated, Nat'l champs, to acting like Worthy is equivalent to Roy fucking Williams. A guy who, by the by, also didn't have a 10-year NFL career.
  21. I must have really fucked up if you think something I said was stupid considering every post of yours today has been pants-on-head retarded, Mr. "We're better than the '05 Longhorns!" Another hot take here. Sub 4.4 isn't some be-all end-all anymore in the NFL. Guys are running 4.2s/4.3s no problem. But yes, he is fast. An athletic freak? Tyreek Hill is an athletic freak. DK Metcalf is an athletic freak. Worthy is a stick figure built like Randy Moss just 3 inches shorter and 40 pounds lighter. Never cracked 1k yards receiving. Good for 60 catches a year. Which isn't terrible, but c'mon. He's playing on teams stacked with D1 talent with 5* QBs throwing him the ball in a defense deficient conference. 2nd round? Really? 10 years in the league? Really? Guess I am blind and/or ignorant because I don't see it as of yet. Though he does have a lot of games against creampuffs coming up to prove me wrong.
  22. Yeah, misses for sure. Though I think both the guys they got can be pretty good players. That O-line is just atrocious, though. I saw today that they're ranked like 3rd or 4th lowest in pass block win-rate at 44%. They gave up seven sacks against the Lions. Some of that, I'm sure, is on Ridder holding the ball a bit too long. But a lot of those plays were just DOA because Ridder/Bijan had 4-5 Lions defenders in their face immediately because the O-line 'Ole' blocked everyone.
  23. He's great when he's running in a straight line, no doubt. On routes over the middle and shit where he has to out-work a defender with his routes, footwork, and cuts? I ain't seen anything that special out of him.
  24. Not even Worthy. That kid drops as many passes and he catches. He's only 6'1 and he weighs a buck seventy soaking wet. So he can't play the giant outside burner Randy Moss type receiver that well. He doesn't have the route running ability or quickness to play slot. And yeah, he drops a lot of balls. Dude is a 4th or later round pick at this point who will have to work his ass off to just have a chance at working into a starting role. 10 years in the league? Please. I mean, nothing against the guy, but trying to act like he's better than any other number of low-level NFL talent we've had is wrong. He's probably slightly above a Lil'Jordan or Colin Johnson type unless he figures some shit out. And double teamed? Boo-hoo. Great players laugh at that shit and then burn the coverage anyway.
  25. This is what 15 years of being ass does to motherfuckers. This team is good. Just good. They've proven dick all as of yet against weaker competition. Stop disrespecting the '05 team. Or we're going to have Casey Studdard come back and teach you idiots a lesson.
