Bought my tickets to the game yesterday. I will be driving up from Texas so if you pass a black Texas Edition Silverado with some UT swag on it then it is me. Will be meeting my daughter, granddaughter, and SIL there. It will be may granddaughter's first football game at the age of 2-1/2 months.

McRaven was the commencement speaker at my daughter's graduation from UT back in 2014. I was fired up after hearing him speak. I make my bed everyday, at a minimum, as a result of his speech. I remember absolutely zero from my UT graduation speaker in 1988.

The top 2 to the left and the bottom right look like they could really put the hurt on you.

Prayers up and Horns up for El Ced. Hookem.

His sideline interview during the game was painful. When asked about goals he mumbled something about keeping them personal and not to verbalize them and then as they were breaking away he said something like "win".

I haven't watched one of these videos without the room getting dusty. The shock and joy of the guys getting the scholarship, and the joy/support of his teammates, hits me in the feels.
Glad to know that I am not the only that the dust gets to. Hookem.

When I had my SEO company a branding consultant/total grifter I sort of knew charged a law firm $25k for a “rebrand” that included clip art slicks, a logo he sourced from Fiverr or 99, and Garamond. This right here. The company (16,000+ employees) that I work for introduced some new technology for our equipment. We wanted to make a big splash with this so we hired an outside marketing firm to come up with a "name" for the technology and a logo for it despite having our own marketing department. I had the opportunity to see all of the proposals that were being presented to our senior management team and BOD. They all looked like they were taken from a grab bag of ideas and were not appealing at all. I went to my office and sketched out a design in about 15 minutes along with a acronym for the system. My design made it to the final cut but since I was not paid a gazillion dollars to come up with the design it ultimately was not selected despite the vast majority of people preferring my entry.

I would like to see what he could do on punt returns. The initial nature of returning a punt is quickly dodging the first wave of defenders barreling down on you and then trying to get behind the wall set up. His quickness and vision would be an asset. Once behind the wall his size would then be an advantage.
But again, I am not a coach.

There is well over 100 FBS teams in college football. You would think that they could have more diversity than showing the same teams multiple times. Five references to aggy and one to OU is too much!

Baylor. It's a late-in-the-year matchup, coming right off of a tough away game at Iowa State. Brewer's a good QB and he'll only get better next year, it'll by a real challenge.
This game here because Brewer is pissed that UT did not offer him a scholarship. It is his annual revenge game. Plus, his dad, well...you all know by now.

Will be there with my daughter and SIL. Also in attendance will be my first granddaughter attending her first UT game. She will be 2-1/2 months old at game time. Never too young to start them off right. Hook'em.

I live in the town where Roddrick Muckleroy is from.
Every so often the high school purges old jerseys and offers them to be purchased by the students. My son was playing high football at that time and my younger nephew was a ball boy for the high school at the time since he was in junior high at the time.
My nephew bought Roddrick's old high school jersey.
One week Roddrick was at home for a Friday night game and was on the sideline. My nephew told Roddrick that he had his old jersey and he wished he had it with him so that he could sign it since Roddrick was signing other things. Roddrick asked where my nephew lived and said that he would swing by the next day to sign it. Sure enough he came by the next day and hung out with the boys for about an hour signing stuff, taking pics and just talking to my son, nephews, sister and BIL.
Never got Josh Cochran to sign anything but he would come by the house from time to time because his girlfriend was good friends with my daughter (no pics).
