The Auburn game in 84 or 85 (the game in Austin) has the possession cut where Jerry Gray chases down Bo Jackson and separates Bo's shoulder. All you see is that Auburn no longer has Bo in the game. No explanation. No replay. Nothing.
Why can't the LHN get the whole game footage instead of showing the butchered ESPN Classic reruns? Can someone punch Galindo for me?
I was at that game as a student. Was watching the rerun of it and was disappointed that that play was not shown too. Plus I like to see who all I might recognize in the stands from bygone days.

obviously. im asking, whats in it for the players? if im an offensive guard im not showing up to block for a strange dude in a game that doesnt matter. youre not slam dunking the ball. its not a sexy exhibition.
and a big no on the second statement.
I actually saw the OL taking a knee during pass plays.
Seriously this should become a skills competition. i enjoy watching the combine. This should become a Team event where strength, agility, speed, and endurance is part of the competition doing an assortment of competitive events.

Just for this I am hoping for an unsuspected torrential rainstorm, dust storm, or a plague of locusts to descend upon the festivities. The NFL is getting too cute. I can just hear the marketing folks playing this up and using the latest buzzwords to get this across the line.
I see the point in having it in Vegas to get the excitement coming for the upcoming season in Vegas. Makes you worry on what they will do once the season gets here. Will the latest house magician make the team suddenly appear out of thin air? Tumble in like Cirque Soliel acrobats? Maybe heralded in with topless showgirls?

Of course they're gonna do stupid shit, more power to 'em. The stories I've heard from family members that went to Annapolis are in line with silly shit. But a Lt. General is now looking into the matter, so it's no longer Dean Wormer looking into fizzies in the swimming pool. They're entitled to be kids/young adults, but not every one of their CO's may feel the same way as evidenced by a sweeping investigation being called for just hours after the incident. We can laugh with them and at them as young people doing dumb shit. But the U.S. Army may see it slightly different as evidenced by this internal investigation.
And yes I realize college football didn't exist in 1775. But the Academies play for their Branches as a whole, and the Army and Navy are older than the U.S. It was a comment on how the game is bigger than just the (relatively) small Service Academies, it's about the entire Armed Forces. But thanks for letting me know there were no college football programs in 1775, the nuance was as lost as it'd be on speaking with a woman.
Of course there is an "investigation" because the liberal public demands it. Otherwise....no.

Leon decided to run out of time a little early I guess

When did he ever stop? I thought being an aggy was like having herpes, once you have it you have it for life? Not that I would personally know of course.
