I’m not going to break down everything that you said, but I will echo your first statement about social anxiety. Everybody talked about how Charlie Strong was terrible with the media, but Coach Herman isn’t far behind. It is apparent every media interview that he does. The man always takes a closed minded stance by folding his arms. It’s almost a defiant position that is only intensified by his fierce stare with his eyes. Rarely does he smile or seem relaxed. The man is focused on everything that is being said to him, which I appreciate. It comes across as arrogant and defensive, but he may be the smartest person in the room during media q&a. This fact in his mind makes it difficult to be relatable to his audience. He would be a shitty politician, but he would be a dominant dictator.
I really like the guy as a football coach, and I bet he is an outstanding family man as well. He would do anything for his inner circle and seems to have strong convictions with little wiggle room for change in what he thinks is right.
