  1. Agreed. It's bad if there's no plan for what to do next, but by itself, not awful.
  2. Watching Burks ream him out for not even looking his way as the first read was...
  3. It makes zero sense. He was always a plus recruiter and a reliable position coach at both RB and WR, but never called plays, never showed any propensity for design or theory, and couldn't keep himself from doing something dumb and getting fired. That's who you want back in the building? If he were a lights-out QB guru or a Leach-style innovator, maybe I could see talking yourself into it, but come on.
  4. I was hoping to see a couple of pairs of those sunglasses shoved into someone's mouth. Shoulda left em in your Yukons, boys. I guess they're more stable on those hats than I thought.
  5. Farooq possibly, Anthony unlikely, and nobody is saying anything about Burks yet.
  6. Miami is playing well, and I feel like Cristobal is a good recruiter, if an idiotic game manager. It's hard to fault anyone in a recruit's position for wanting to live down there AND have some spending money.
  7. https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/266507/clank-legacy-acquisitions-incorporated I've got a group I'm working through Clank Legacy with. We love it. Clank as a legacy game turns into a great combo of cooperative and competitive. The group has overall goals to achieve, but you still want to be the winner of each round. We played the Pandemic Legacy games together, and can recommend those also. Season 1 > Season 0 > Season 2, but they've all got cool mechanics that work in interesting ways.
  8. I'm thinking it's time to pull out the worst alternate uniform combo we can muster. It's better to disguise the team from what's about to happen. That's not going to be a nice memory when it's included in every highlight reel produced for the next twenty years.
  9. And if the safety had been called the opposite way on the field, it likely stands on review also.
  10. He had a YouTube channel that was pretty popular for a while.
  11. Doesn't even have a pool. Gotta go to Hillcrest if you want to drop off your Baby Ruth.
  12. If you're playing, don't hit it left on 4. My dad likes to lay down in his backyard and pretend he got conked.
  13. Sadly, the Price Tower is closed, the owners started selling off the historic furnishings. Fucking vultures. Frank and Lola's was pretty good when I went, and Murphy's Steak House is always a throwback to a past that doesn't exist anymore. Get the Hot Hamburger, gravy over all, and the salad with house dressing.
  14. I've only had this in the "Dutch Baby" version: It's really good and thin on the bottom. Not too heavy, and served with powdered sugar, butter, and lemon. I'm definitely going to try the recipe you posted. That looks tremendous.
  15. I don't know for sure, and that's accurate to say cagey isn't good. The noise was always that he's been held out as a precaution for something like a hamstring issue, in contrast to how they announced more detail about Farooq, for example. Also of note, Woodi Washington and Gentry Williams were held out and are anticipated to return as soon as necessary.
  16. If Anderson can make it back next week and stay healthy, that helps some. He's got size and a talent for finding space and making contested catches that OU just doesn't have elsewhere.
  17. He couldn't have just won the conference, made the playoffs, gotten drafted and solved the problem all at once? Come on, Dillon, help us out a little..
  18. My daughter and I toured Oregon just a few weeks ago. She doesn't graduate until 26, but it's on her list for sure.
  19. They could have run him up to Bossier City. Still going strong by the AFB.
  20. Depends on how "south" it gets, but yeah, first year in the SEC probably buys him at least another year even with a semi-rough performance.
  21. Detective's curse. Focusing on the wrong thing. There are environmental things that obscure and distract, and before they can spend much time with him, they're called away with news on a lead they had been "hoping" would pan out.
  22. One of the hallmarks of fast food is reliability. Yeah we know if you go to a completely different area you might pay more due to taxes or supply differences, but anyone who has been in line behind a senior citizen screaming that their 55 cent coffee is now 58 cents knows how this is going to play out. For better or worse, some of their customers plan out their budgets including these things. This really only works if you're ordering via delivery service where you can see the price instead of committing to actually drive to the store. We've already accepted that menu prices are different via those services, so this wouldn't be a huge change. The amount of ire this is going to create is insane.
  23. Missouri just got a huge donation influx, with some of it ($12M) requested to be earmarked for NIL in couched terms. Link to local story
  24. Or to ruin a computer with a glass of J&B on the rocks?
