  1. Damn that could be a country song. Where’s Blake Shelton when you need him.
  2. So I got sick of birds watering themselves and their grubs in my spa spillways. I bought a pellet gun. I would be prone about 6 feet inside the house pointing out the back door. Yes that was necessary. The birds would fly if they heard the door or me. It was great fun until I shot one. Flipping and flopping and bleeding and dying in my hot tub. Also, I heard a window break about 90 yards away. I returned the gun that day.
  3. $325 50” Roku Tv going on 4 years. Just sayin.

    Shit My Kid Says

I was heading out to Thundercloud, and I asked my 12yo if he wanted a sandwich. "sure." Whatcha want? What are you getting? The usual. Want one? Well you seam like you know what you're doing. Damn right. Good boy.
  5. Maybe don't go bungee jumping in Zimbabwe "No Liability" Africa. I think the part where she had to swim down to free the rope from the rocks was the scariest part. Plus her feet were tied together. Fuck all that.

    Swing and a miss, God.
  7. A better Yellowstone is what we deserve.
  8. Great thread. Five stars. What the fuck are crab people?
  9. I have plumbers and carpenters that will work in your area. I'm a GC. PM me.
  10. Or once they find out you have a big ass life insurance policy and then they realize you are worth more dead than alive. Watch your back.
  11. You just called a little girl a douche bag.
  12. Also, outdoor ceilling fans are a neusance. If they are off then they attract birds. Then birds shit on your furniture. So you have to keep then spinning all the time to keep birds from roosting. They also sag and fail quickly resulting in frequent replacement. I replaced patio fan with a wifi extender like the one below. That outdoor living space is pretty far from the house, and you will want good wifi out there for TVs, ipads, phones, music, etc. https://store.ui.com/products/uap-nanohd-us
  13. You might want something like this for your pool house too.... https://www.woodlanddirect.com/61-1-4-6000-watt-infratech-dual-heater/118147.html
  14. Pool equipment is from 2009, but the board was replaced in 2018 under a homeshield warranty. I'm in Round Rock. I found this.... https://saturationregion.blogspot.com/2020/01/help-my-aux-circuits-or-valves-stopped.html
  15. Now read that in Morgan Freeman’s voice.
  16. I've got another one.... Circa 2017 Priscilla and I are shopping for new bathroom designs. We're in a big store with dozens of mocked up bathroom designs , but none of them are functional. Dozens of beautiful bathrooms everywhere you look. We loose site of 4 year old Elvis Jr. for a bit, but don't notice right away. Priscilla and me and a couple of tile salesman spread out to find him. It didn't take long. He was so proud. He dropped a huge stinking sticky log in a non-working display toilet. It was really quite breathtaking. There was no way to be mad at a 4yo for not understanding that this was not Willy Wonkas chocolate factory of magical toilets. P.S. - I'll always wonder how he chose that fake bathroom and toilet and bathroom out of the dozens of choices. It probably says something about both of us.
  17. Yeah, I pressed my pool guy on that. A bad transformer is my hope. We were reading higher than normal voltage on the relay breaker (22 instead of 18) and valve breaker (30 instead of 24). He said that was ok, but I didn't agree.
  18. My system is almost completely manual for now. The board will tell the pool to turn on and off on schedule, but that's it. None of the relays will communicate out to the valves, lights, heater, blower, or booster pump. No relays. Blower relay and lighting relays started mis-behaving about 6 weeks ago after a big storm, possibly lightning. Then the cleaner stopped working reliably about 2 weeks ago. Valve relays were working Thursday, not they're not. That's got to be the board, right? I figured out how to manipulate the motorized valves into the different configuarations for normal operation, water fall, and spa. I can turn the heater on manually too. Pool heating now. Oh yeah, I just replaced the pool heater on Friday for $4300. It's been repaired every year for 7-8 years, so I said fuck it. I want warm water for spring break.
