  1. I'm not sure when I lost access, because this system just keeps cranking out MBPs like crazy. But now I can't log in and see the dashboard or have any control over it. I found out I lost access to the controller when one of my APs was running slow. I suspected I needed to switch the channel to see if someone was next door was louder than my AP. I found my password wouldn't work. I reset a bunch of stuff, but no controllers are found. Yet everything keeps working. I can't figure this out, and I'm ready to hire a network nerd to fix it. While I have a nerd for hire, there's a bunch of other internet tweaking and security stuff I want to do. For example, setup different wifi network names for each household member. That way I can turn off one kids network for punishment. As kids are getting older I want to have more content control too. I would also like to know what the hell the Cloud Key is even for, and how to take advantage it's mysterious purpose.
  2. My combination microwave/oven in-wall unit is broken, and I'm trying to fix it myself. I found a site that says it will sell me the manual for $16.99, but I'm hoping there is a place to download them for free. Help please and thank you! Whirlpool Gold GMC305PDS07
  3. Turns out my 11 year old son can wear them. He's helping me build a fence!
  4. Just watched this. "Now run and go find an American to hug!" literally lol'd.
  5. Early on they are having a beer and asking where each other are from. Malek's character just says "the Valley". I turned to my wife and said ," where? the valley of weirdos?" Overall pretty boring; Malek's character was terrible and distracting. Especially at the end....
  6. My 11yo son has been tinkering around with the piano. I told him I would buy him a red Ferrari if he could master this by 16. No progress.
  7. I thought it was awesome at 10yo. But I also had a Dick Tracy t-shirt. For reference: VS
  8. After recently finishing Matthew McConaughey audio book Greenlights, I decided to go back and watch a couple of his movies that I haven't seen in a while. (side note, True Detective Season 1 is my all time favorite movie or anything, with Interstellar almost tied). Last night I watched Mud with my wife and 11yo son. Lot's of good lessons in there. After they went to bed I watched Killer Joe. That movie is straight up fucked up. I recommend watching it alone due to multiple unbelievably uncomfortable scenes. Holy shit.
  9. Curious if you are in Temple. I am investigating a rash of 50+ property theft from vehicle cases in that area.
  10. Who's running the damn parole board? http://www.tdcj.state.tx.us/statistics/deathrow/drowlist/etheridg.jpg And to stay on topic: Nachos (with cheese and peppers), crispy French fries, one cheeseburger, one fried chicken patty, one cinnamon roll, cheese, ketchup, and pickles
  11. Fascinating and macabre. http://web.archive.org/web/20031202214318/http://www.tdcj.state.tx.us/statistics/deathrow/drowlist/elliott.jpg
  12. Check my food thread for CFC. Hope it's not my last meal. Priscilla! Start cooking!
  13. I got some chicken and veggies. Here’s what I made. (that’s a sauce, not gravy)
  14. That looks awesome, but wear a full body condom, dude.
  15. This is it. FYI there's a place in Abilene called Bell's Fried Chicken that gets it right. Not sure about their sheet cake, but my wife can make my mom's old recipe.
  16. This. The words incalculable and unknowable come to mine. This wouldn't be any where near my record, but freshman year me and my buddy road trip to Texas Tech Chili. We stop in Post and buy five 30 packs and 3 handles of Crown with no intention of sharing it. The second night, I ran my shin into this concrete planter thing and it split my skin wide open. My girl says, "oh my god! you are actually bleeding pure Coors Light!". So we got in the shower to wash it off, which was fun. We couldn't find any bandages before passing out. I wake up with a gaping shin wound and major pain. I still I have a scar, but it looks like a mountain biking injury. Tech girls are wild and DTF. Especially if you knew them or their friends from high school. I think my actual records involves a long day of pledge drinking, followed by dare-based drinking as I stumbled home to the Castilian. As in, "I can drink that hole bottle of Gold Schlager" in one pull. I probably should have been ambulanced out of there, but my "friends" just kept poking me with a stick to make sure I was breathing for about 36 hours. I think I missed 5 meal-plan meals, arriving at dinner the day after. Ouch.
  17. Ha! That’s what she said! (they were all fresh and clean from the shop) Also 11.5 D or E if I can find them.
  18. Well these old rodeo boots, well I think my dad out rodeoed them (he’s in the West Texas Hall of Fame). This is as good as they could clean up an old yella ostrich. They’re all curled up and gnarly. I was thinking about having them resoled to stretch out the kinks so Priscilla could wear them. Probably die them darker too. Anyone know a boot maker qualified for that?
  19. Elvis boot show coming up! Starting with my dad’s old pythons that I had restored. A little back story.... My dad had a western wear store back in the 80’s, so we were always wearing fresh duds. I even made the paper as a 6yo runway model. (I still have the newspaper clipping) Anyway, my dad was a smaller fella than I grew up to be; 5’8” and wore a 7.5 size boot. And he had a helluva lot of exotics. I wore that size in sixth and seventh grades, which was cool. Now, my 5’7” wife Priscilla fits these boots! So dad’s in a retirement home now and let me and my brother take his boots for wearing, or nostalgia, or whatever. I got these dusty old brittle snake skins cleaned up and gave them to wifey for Christmas. Check it out.... More to follow
  20. I enjoyed it as a weekend hangover morning in bed half-asleep movie. But I like movies about freezing cold survivors like Arctic on Prime. Almost no dialogue.
