  1. Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse
  2. It's showing at Bullock Imax through June 6. I'm going to try to see it there this weekend.
  3. You VCR bros are gonna flip. This thing is badass.
  4. "Y'all" works just fine where I come from and every where I go.
  5. This thread should really just be full of Jack Donaghey scenes. I'm obviously a fan.
  6. I just rewatched 30 Rock last month and it is so fast. Like 15 jokes per minute fast sometimes. I was always stopped what I was doing to watch Jack be Jack, but Tracy is annoying as shit. Still a great show.
  7. I'm caught up on the episodes and loving the show. Such a cool vibe about everything.
  8. I signed up for AMC+ today to give this a rewatch. Eighty's gold up there with War Games.
  9. All that mounting and you skipped a simple wall drop for the wires?
  10. That was pretty good. “Mullet to mullet” got me.
  11. You never want to do that. That's how you get warped rotors. Brake 60-5 and then let it roll out to dissipate the heat evenly. A full stop traps the heat between the disks and rotors and warps them.
  12. Bullock's response: " Thanks for reaching out. We have not heard anything on our end about getting the re-release of Interstellar, but that doesn't necessarily mean we won't get it. We usually recommend folks follow our social media accounts or sign up for the newsletter, as those are the first places we make film announcement. Thanks! 13. We really liked the first two episodes. The show is beautiful. The city, the architecture, the car. Everything is cool and nothing is gritty. Even homeless people and mangy dogs.
  14. I just emailed the Bob Bullock Imax asking about when this might happen. I saw Interstellar at the Imax when it came out. It was the coolest movie I have ever seen on any screen. The Zimmerman soundtrack was incredible. Now would be a good time to read Kip Thorne's book.
  15. Parking like this. Especially in the dark.

    Getting old sucks

I hate this thread so much. I got into a fight with my 14yo son Friday night. Nothing malicous, just a sparring fight. I pulled my punches but he didn't. I think I have a broken rib. I was getting tired, so I worked him into the fence. He didn't like being cornered. He was so happy to get out of that corner, he didn't realize I was working him toward the pool. PUSH! SPLASH! My ribs hurt.
  17. I was thinking a Hugh Hefner party would be a good choice. Then you guys bring up a Grateful Dead show. Here is my answer:

It works.
  19. What the fuck? I'm pretty smart, but I have zero knowledge on this thing. For fixed-bed hydrocracking units, proper feedstock preparation is necessary to minimize catalyst poisoning and give high yields and a long catalyst life. Many hydrocracking units use a hydrotreating reactor before the hydrocracking reactors to convert organic sulfur and nitrogen compounds to hydrogen sulfide and ammonia to prevent reduction of hydrocracking catalyst activity and deterioration of yield structure. During a run, the reactor temperatures are gradually increased to maintain a constant severity of operation (constant degree of sulfur or nitrogen removal or constant conversion level). Increasing the reaction temperature increases the cracking rates faster than the hydrogenation rates, and more of the feed is cracked to gases and coke. This results in lower yields of desirable products and less profitable operations.
