Thought it was awesome. Damn close to Fury Road for me. ATJ is so badass in this. Perfect for the role. As far as it dragging, I had the opposite reaction. Even though it is long af, some scenes felt rushed and it took away from the drama.
No mention of Tires yet? Gillis is just standing around being himself but it works for me. Nothing ground breaking but an easy watch and I laughed several times. The Will character kills it.
I’m glad I’m not the only one that has seen this. First 2 episodes were great. Who in their right mind would agree to do this? Yes, it seems something ominous does happen. It’s crazy that they aren’t all dead.
One of the great documentary moments ever. Enjoying Season 2 so far. Just an absolute ape shit crazy story. IMO - the peak of true crime docs along with The Staircase and Thin Blue Line.
Get on that Chappell Roan. Entire album is catchy. My all time girly pop song I crank is I “Think We’re Alone Now”. “See You Again” “Since You Been Gone”
Split is great. The Visit! Forgot about that. Kind of a modern day Hansel and Gretel. Seems people either love it or hate it but I’m a big fan. My kids liked it so much they bought the blu-ray for me for Christmas a few years back.
The plot of this is intriguing because it aligns perfectly with the concert experience for so many girl Dads. It seems like M. Night is working on 3-4 projects at any given time. Knock at the Cabin just came out last year, Trap, and then he’s Producer on his kid’s movie “Watcher” and “Vanishing at Caddo Lake” coming soon.
Parks and Rec MF 30 Rock Community Blasphemy for most but I’ve had some really good times through the years watching Modern Family with my kids. Some of the funniest shit I’ve ever seen on TV. The scene where Cam says “would be a better world if everyone just went back to where they came from” comes to mind.
All true - but if you stuck it out that’s really the point of the show. He’s got issues - and the show is very self aware. He’s playing himself - he knows he’s got issues. If you crave attention so bad that she is appealing, you ain’t right.
Abigail. Not as good as Ready or Not but definitely worth seeing. Agreed with others they messed up giving it away in the trailer. That kid (also in Matilda) is a little badass. She killed it.
How old? Pre 1980? Can’t miss with any of these I don’t think. Apologies that some are obvious and you’ve probably seen. The Innocents Carnival of Souls What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? Rosemarys Baby The Exorcist The Birds Psycho Night of the Living Dead Don’t Look Now The Wicker Man (73) Blood on Satans Claw Texas Chainsaw The Omen Burnt Offerings The Changling Carrie Alice Sweet Alice The Brood The Fog Magic Alien Theatre of Blood Who Can Kill A Child Jaws Black Christmas The Shining Invasion of the Body Snatchers Halloween Suspiria Repulsion Onibaba Kwaidan
Here are some of my favorites: - Dear Zachary (always been #1, I’ve been on all the social media updates since it came out.) - Capturing the Friedman’s (approaching a messed up family from the outside in) - Grizzly Man (big WH fan) - Nathan for You - Finding Francis - Some Kind of Heaven - Beyond Utopia - The Staircase (all of them) - Harlan County USA - King of Kong - Paradise Lost 1-3 - The Keepers - Cheshire Murders (rough)
