  1. Tumbbad was a very pleasant surprise. Indian mythology horror. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  2. A Fish Called Wanda is an all time classic for me. 12 year old Wutang had a major thing for Jamie Lee after this and seeing Trading Places numerous times on cable. Is it possible for Kevin Kline to be underrated? In & Out holds up as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

  4. “My Name” is the next Korean series to explode. On episode 3 and it’s very very good. Nothing we haven’t seen before, but all the elements that are there are the ones we typically love. Can’t throw out examples without giving the twist away. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  5. Come on. Obvious trolling this AM. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

  13. The Chestnut Man is great after 3 episodes. “Nordic” Crime shows rarely miss for me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  14. I posted on another thread. My interest ranged from it being too slow, to loving it, to finally being indifferent with the ending. It touches on several very difficult subjects to cover (religion/racism/addiction) in a way that had me pausing to process several times and stuck with me for a few days. Hamish Linkater as the Preacher deserves all the awards, especially during the sermons. He was incredible. Overall imo not as good as Hill House but better than Bly Manor and definitely worth watching for the acting alone. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  15. Spontaneous idea to bring my 14 year old music lover down for the second weekend. What have I gotten myself in to! I am an ACL veteran but coming with a teenager for her first festival could be amazing/challenging. I did go ahead and get weekend passes because we both like a lot of the 2nd-3rd tier bands for each day. Lodging last minute probably being the biggest hurdle at this point. Any advice for a Dad wanting to have an amazing experience with his kid for their first festival??? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  16. Stayed up late binging Midnight Mass not sure how I feel about it, a lot to process. Definitely can see why some might hate it and some might love it. Hits on some very difficult points that most directors could never pull off. I will say this Linklater who plays the Preacher can act his balls off. Goddamnit Tapatalk. I’ll never come to this thread again. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

  20. Somewhere mixed in The Exorcist 3 is one of the most compelling and terrifying horror movies ever. It’s in there somewhere. They were on to something for sure. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  21. 8 years in a row to River’s Inlet and Shearwater (Bella Bella), BC fishing for Kings and halibut. Amazing every time. Caught a 70 pound hatchery King one trip. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  22. Finished it as well and loved it. Agree it’s really rough, one episode in particular. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  23. Holy shit. Eargasm. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  24. Kill List Bone Tomahawk Triangle Law Abiding Citizen Krampus Crawl Bloody Hell Sing Street The Guest The Loved Ones The Mist (ending alone) Mommy (highly rated but nobody in the states has seen it) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  25. I’m a big horror fan and I’ve had Shudder for a couple years. Hit me up if you want a list of favorites. Or my Letterboxd is wutang75. Some really quality stuff from the 70s - 80s. Just watched Butcher, Baker, Nightmare Maker with a young Bill Paxton. I thought Malignant was great for what it was and definitely thought it was intentionally horrible. That cop dialogue was hilarious. The crazy ass parking spot made me laugh as well. Drags but the last 20-30 minutes was worth it. Another good service is Kanopy. Free with library card.
