  1. Blocked! Overtime.
  2. Duke kicking for the win with 3 seconds on the clock.
  3. Smoked pork chops, butternut squash with toasted pecans, dried cranberries, and feta, and grilled romaine.
  4. How fucking stupid. He’s gone.
  5. Surely we can figure out a way to get Arch meaningful snaps at home against Florida.
  6. D is balling and bailing us out!
  7. And, at a great price. I load up annually.
  8. Definitely will be checking out Azteca in Houston. Love me some carne guisada!
  9. I've since gotten another similar comment (to my social media post) from another Gator. I don't think either was rooting for GA to win. But, both suffer from SEC, SEC, SEC....
  10. A huge Gator alumni friend posted "Welcome to the SEC" to his social media. WTF - GA is and always has been Florida's biggest rival. Seems to me the equivalent of UF moving to the Big 12, and 7 games into the season and clearly a good team, getting embarrassed at home by OU. There is zero chance any us us would proclaim "Welcome to the Big 12." But, SEC, SEC, SEC.... Fuck that shit. And, fuck OU!

  13. Gundy may be a man, but he’s got no magic underwear.
  14. Agree RIP on Fountainview Cafe. Buffalo Grille was acquired by Adair Concepts just a few months ago. I expect they will turn things around.
  15. It is pretty meh. I feel a failure that my kids like it.
  16. Ah, memories of youth
  17. I was 503 on iphone safari and desktop firefox as recently as an hour ago. Both now working.
  18. That requires a bold progressive statesman, who actually wants real peace, which will never describe Netanyahu.
  19. My family salmon croquette recipe also uses corn flake crumbs, and, unlike the more common meh salmon patties I see, they are awesome. But, no catsup for me. I prefer a mayo-Tabasco mix.
  20. Well, two out of the three ACL weekend breakfasts included pancakes!
  21. So, I'm just back from ACL weekend in Austin, where I had breakfasts at Counter Cafe, Magnolia Cafe, and Toasty Badger - all better than average, local breakfast places with character. It isn't hard to find similar places in other cities when I travel. But, Houston is full of chains like First Watch, Another Broken Egg, and Snooze, all of which are pretty soulless. I know there are couple of old fashioned dives out Telephone Road, like Frank's Grill and Tel-Wink Diner. And, Harry's in mid-town just popped into my head. What are other good, local breakfast places, with character? Inner loop or west side, inside the beltway preferred....
