  1. Late to the party, but looking for a college counselor for HS Juniors, who are behind the curve on figuring out where they want to undergraduate party while procrastinating further on what to do with their lives. Mrs. Tonesky has been working on this, but just got a "we're full for this cycle" letter, and has no plan B or C.... Any recommended college counselors based on relatively recent personal experience?

Same; Weekend 1. Price is the same as last year, with exception charging a nominal fee for basic USPS delivery, which has historically been included in the ticket price. Still an incredible deal regardless of the lineup. There are guaranteed to be a handful of bands I know and like, and another handful I discover on Spotify in the weeks leading up to ACL.

I had side stage hospitality wrist bands this year and was surprised/disappointed to find a cash bar. I suspect that is more monetization by Live Nation, which purchased a majority interest in C3 in 2004. ACL Fest is doing just fine, but there is always more money to leech.

I googled and could not find anything published, but it seems to usually be the second Saturday of October.

So, 2025 dates announced: 10/3-10/5 and 10/10-10/12. Is it more likely that TX-OU will be weekend 2 - 10/11?
  7. Too fucking bad swing state assholes - I’m saving my limited empathy resources for Trump’s “innocent” victims.
  8. Met and spent a good bit of time talking with him at a wedding weekend two years ago. Incredibly nice guy.
  9. Looking forward to trying this NYE (Costco beef tenderloin).
  10. If he is going to continue hanging with the team, I think McConaughey needs to add a few more alrights.
  11. Black Stetsons would make a nice addition to this week’s team travel attire.
  12. Well, with such dominance in the spring game, how could anyone doubt them?
  13. He had definitely begun to slide. I had the same thought. It was not mentioned/discussed at all by the commentators.
  14. And, OU still sucks!
  15. It’s very strange to be watching the game unplugged from Surly! So far, it’s been delicious. The food is not bad either. All gas; no brakes, Sark. Show us it’s not just a slogan! Hook ‘em, you Surly batards! 🤘
  16. About to get head out to Friendsgiving to watch the Horns kick some aggy ass, while eating and drinking well with a bunch of UT buddies (late 70s/early 80s). Let's fucking go! 🤘
  17. 1, 1. Don't make me choose! (no aggy)

Headed to a Friendsgiving, where they’re serving turkey pot pie.
