  1. Twins. They will be 18 years and 8 months old, or 18 2/3 years old, or 18.67 years old, in June 2026. Maybe I should have gone with "almost 19."
  2. We have no cruise experience and are contemplating a family cruise in June 2026 for our kids’ HS graduation. They will be 18.67 at cruise time. Son will want speedy internet on ship, and scenery, museums, and culture at port stops. Daughter will want pool, dancing, and alcohol on ship, and shopping and adventurous foodie experiences at port stops. Mrs. T. and I want to relax and eat/drink well on ship, and are good with whatever the kids want to do in port stops. While we don’t want a party ship, we also don’t want our kids to feel like they are hanging out at a Del Webb clubhouse. My general sense is that we need a European cruise to check the most boxes, including for the kids to be able to order alcohol. My initial research points to Virgin Voyages (adult only), which has two Mediterranean cruises with workable dates. Please recommend other suitable cruise lines and/or regions. I probably need to consider some cruise lines that allow kids, but which will not feel like we are at Disney or summer camp….
  3. Got damn, those pre-revolution pistachios were fantastic. I dream of their return.

Terrific representations of new and old world.
  5. Sounds perfect. I have been encouraged by some who have made multiple trips to skip a multi-day detour to Victoria Falls on a first (or even only) trip.
  6. Noted that from your earlier post. Thanks.
  7. Have you got a place in Feville or Fordoba?
  8. This is on my Radar. Likely focused on SA (Kruger, etc.), as I have lots of distant family there - grandfather left 6 siblings there when he hopped a boat for America at about age 19. Many of their descendants later left themselves, but many remain, mostly in Capetown. Will probably be me and my, at time of trip, 18-19 year old son. We want to do it right, but not likely to the expense of Four Seasons and similar luxury. Any suggestions on specific operators, lodges, etc. for the safari portion?
  9. I expect he goes with whatever his polling tells him helps a 2028 POTUS campaign....
  10. Glad to get the clarification. I suspect you would tee off on certain posters if one commented following some West Bank settler shit: Dude just wanted to pop some Palestinians. Psycho shit.
  11. We finally stopped getting mail addressed to the decedent from whose estate we purchased our house 20+ years ago. I guess she is about to start getting mail again....
  12. Surely, you know this is not true. There is zero chance these two were targeted as "Israelis." They were random attendees of the American Jewish Committee's Young Diplomats Reception, bringing young Jewish professionals together with the [not exclusively Israeli] diplomatic community. Your Dude wanted to kill Jews, and went to a Jewish - not Israeli - event, where there was a good chance he would encounter and get to kill Jews. Encountering the victims, there was nothing about their appearance, speech, or behavior that would suggest they were Israelis. The fact that they were employed by the Israeli Embassy is complete coincidence. The fact that he - a Christian - immigrated to Israel as a teen and became a dual German-Israeli citizen is complete coincidence.
  13. And, only in stock once a year, including now (or, at least when i was there a week ago).

This. There are not many bands I currently recognize and like, but I am confident I will discover more between now and October, and easily fill out my dance card. And, spend the weekend among tons of talent.
  16. It would be a lot simpler, and less stressful, to just send me a check.
  17. Maybe, because police gonna police, but not a CONVICTION, because warning of the presence of police around the corner is not harboring or concealing.
  18. First evening on the ground in Emilia, we rolled up to our B&B on fringe of Parma to find them busy preparing for a Bridal shower/party. They made a quick phone call, scribbled directions to a neighborhood trattoria on a scrap of paper, and pretty much said "we'll see you in the morning." Soon after we sat down at the restaurant, carafes of wine and water, a loaf of crusty bread, 1/2 pound chunk of the best Parmesan cheese I've ever had, and a bottle of aceto balsamico were deposited on our table. It was the perfect beginning to a week in Emilia.
  19. This is consistent with all of my research. Bibi Hadid has never returned my deposit.
  20. I have had two Cambridge Audio AVRs. They were both already "dated" at time of their release with regard to AVR things, like HDMI spec, but their sound was punchy and gorgeous. I would not hesitate to buy a Cambridge Audio integrated or receiver. Do anything you can to get your speakers on a stand away from the back wall!
  21. Too difficult to shave inside the creases?
  22. TRO Granted.
