  1. I was at the Dallas show. No Steve meant extra solos from Bruce and Nils, and a more central stage role for Gary. It was a spirited and fun show, and we even got the Detroit medley! Band is ridiculously tight. Probably gonna go again in Tulsa in a couple weeks.
  2. Let’s fucking go!!
  3. That felt good. I mean really, really, REALLY good.
  4. For anyone who might be curious, Hagbard is an old friend of mine—and yes, he’s just as weird in person as is he is on this website. Go Cowboys!
  5. Woody: And I'd really appreciate it if you didn't tell my Mom about this. Diane: Mum's the word, Woody. Woody: OK, I'd really appreciate it if you didn't tell my Mum about this. ------------------------------------------ Rebecca (while housesitting a killer doberman): Sheridan's in the kitchen with Satan! Sam: This is no time for folk singing! -------------------------------------------
  6. I love college football.
  7. Yeah, a little googling confirms that Al Coleman hit 10 3’s (in 14 attempts) vs. KState in January of 1997. Obscure for sure but my brain remembered it somehow. Great job,LHN.
  8. I’m pretty sure that the 3 record is 10 from Al Coleman vs KState, not that any of us would know from watching the game. LHN fucking sucks.
  9. Well, my 4-year-old (who has a speech delay) started off Christmas morning by pointing to the TV and saying, “Football? Cowboys? Football?” Merry Christmas to all. Mine is already perfect.
  10. First time viewing tonight. More than lived up to the hype.
  11. The onion rings at the BOK Center in Tulsa are amazing. That’s all I got.
  12. You got my Cheez Whiz, boy?
  13. U-C-L-A FIGHT fight ahhh who gives a shit it’s Chip Kelly.
  14. If they'd a cremated the sum-bitch, I could be kickin' that Mr. Bandit's ass around the moon by now.
  15. Said the same thing. I love this show so much but this bothered the hell out of me.
  16. I'd always liked what I heard on rock radio growing up, and in 1984 I bought my first 2 Who albums: "Greatest Hits" and "Live At Leeds." I put them both on 1 TDK SA90 and that cassette didn't leave my car stereo for my entire senior year of high school. I started UT in the fall of '85 and got a CD player for Christmas. One of my first purchases was the original 2-CD "Tommy' (FYI, that cost me like $32. That is insane). Mind BLOWN. Again, I taped it and that cassette didn't leave my car during my freshman year unless I was playing the tape that had "Under A Raging Moon" on one side and "White City" on the other (hey, it was as close to a new Who album as you could get). When people ask the eternal Beatles or Stones question, my answer is always THE WHO. My favorite band of all time.

Beautiful. In this overdone era of college sports, I am shocked at its simplicity.
  18. Colt just signed up for another season with the Cardinals.
  19. Proud. Hook ‘em.
  20. Goddamn I forgot how good this feels!!
  21. I just googled UCLA radio network on my phone and it immediately showed me a link for the Oregon game. I launched it and it was about 10 seconds behind the TV broadcast, so I just paused the TV for 10 seconds and I was perfectly in sync for the rest of the game. Too bad the Bruins were very much NOT in sync.
  22. I had to turn him off when he proclaimed the PAC had 6 tourney locks. I synced up the Josh Lewin radio broadcast from the UCLA website and I am much happier (loved Josh when he did Texas Rangers games). Also, had no idea Jacob Young plays for Oregon now.
