  1. Yep. Took him about 3 minutes.
  2. That type 912 flat 12. [emoji7] Seb is supposed to be there this weekend in both his MP4/8 and FW14B.
  3. Yes, but practice times are pretty far off full beans Q3 times. I’m not trying to downplay him at all, Red Bull themselves said his times were what sealed the deal this morning. I’m just adding some context.
  4. The conditions are totally different. Qualy for the race was in drying conditions, plus cooler track temp, etc.
  5. Hell, they are even obligated to talk as a condition of being gifted the passes. This was clarified after the Serena Williams and Megan Thee Stallion “incidents”. I generally like Alanis (and she’s a UT grad), but that’s a poor take.
  6. An update for myself: My midway scan showed Deauville 2, which is considered complete response, with resolution of my tumors (mediastinal mass still has some scar tissue but no abnormal metabolic activity). Just gotta hope nothing new pops up. Have 4 treatments left. It’s hard to walk and use my hands, but I’m making it a day at a time. LFG.
  7. Former Force India/Racing point chief.
  8. Man…..remember when Bottas had a 103 race Q3 streak? Checo whatchu doin.
  9. More like a Disqualifying session, amirite?
  10. They did not. Once the early regulations were mostly rubber stamped in 2010 for the inline 4s, they built a 4 cylinder mule, but then had to dump it (I actually think some of this tech went into the M133/M139 road car engines) when the FIA finalized the change to the V6 hybrid (at mostly Ferrari’s behest) in June 2011, which also pushed the new regs to debut in 2014. Merc then had an early V6 mule running by December 2011.
  11. Yeah he did acknowledge his dominant car run as well in the entire quote. To be somewhat fair to him, he has always said he wanted closer competition during those years. I am relatively sure Max has even said the same thing at some point already, too. These guys are all super competitive and wanna race each other, they just gotta be diplomatic and politicky sometimes.
  12. Got here about noon, stuff was running out quickly once I got closer, but still had brisket. Brisket is elite, but does need more pepper. The “cheesy brat” isn’t a brat but was dang good sausage with cheese in it. Overall, really damn good.
  13. Anyone know how long the wait at Dayne’s typically is?
  14. I love scanning old Kodachromes. Bringing old photos back to life is pretty neat. Some examples.
  15. Nice, that should work pretty well, especially being adjustable.
  16. Yeah, that’s likely too (the light source). My current light has three temps of light which makes it easy to get a better base. I dunno the light temps, but it says this. The Cool Light mode reduces the orange mask that is present in color negative film like CineStill 800T, 400D, and 50D, providing color balanced scans with better color separation and less noise. The White Light mode is ideal for scanning black and white film, as well as slide film that has been processed with the warm-tone dilution of the CineStill D9 DynamicChrome 1st Developer. Lastly, the Warm Light mode is perfect for scanning standard E6 (or CineStill D6 DaylightChrome) processed slide film, as the tungsten-balanced light can produce richer tones and enhanced color separation, especially within the red channel. When scanning Kodachrome slides, I find the “White Light” mode is best.
