  1. Now that opening riff is going to be in my head all day. [emoji894] [emoji894] [emoji894]
  2. Looking at it again, this is nearly a spec engine without calling it a spec engine. That’s disappointing. There will be some room for ERS differences, but with the MGU-K having to be built-in with the battery, that means battery placement will essentially be required to be behind the engine and may require liquid cooling with all that heat buildup, which may mean larger sidepods, etc. Just seems like a big technological step back, but I guess that’s what VW AG wanted.
  3. Those spec parts are gross.
  4. Sure did. It was a great read.
  5. To be fair, the Drive article author missed it too, he just parroted the same thing from the Independent.
  6. Another clickbait article. He was asked and is talking about sprint races only, which absolutely do suck.
  7. Newgarden arguing with people on twitter about his hip check move.
  8. Good lord this track is garbage.
  9. Graham Rahal is a gotdamn idiot.

Fremer has sniffed his own farts for quite a while now, so it’s funny to see that happen to him, tbh.
  11. Yep. Remember Lando’s complaints in Austria? He was totally unconfident in the car even stopping.
  12. Fucking lol. Alex Palou part 2???
  13. All George is saying there is that he thinks the new TD will slow RB and Ferrari down a little (through he does then hedge a little bit), and it probably will at least a small amount.
  14. NoName and Burt Macklin, FBI are both correct. The new regs are a double edged sword, because while it is much easier to follow other cars now, the slipstream effect is MUCH less as well, so they still currently either need to use DRS or have a lot of tire offset to actually pass in many cases.
  15. Sounds like he wanted more than a 1 year deal which Alpine wouldn’t do because of Piastri. Which is fair, since they aren’t fighting for wins anyway and he wants a big salary, and Alpine does want Piastri in the car sooner rather than later.
  16. It is how the overtaking regulations from earlier in the season are written. He was trying to play to that. Most people would agree that it wasn’t a reasonable overtake attempt, but I see what he was trying to do.
  17. Yes!!!!

I still use a Spin Clean. For the stylus I use a magic eraser cube. Just lower it onto it a few times with the cueing lever.

I did it as I got into collecting, luckily, so I didn’t have to go back and do it all at once.
  20. The 2012 has a few durability upgrades over the older one, too, so that’s nice.

Mine is pretty high, but it’s pretty inflated by my rougher copies of rare stuff.
  22. 1) Yes, if the teams wish to take it (they are on different PU schedules sometimes, though). Remember though that other teams may not be able to run the PU to the same standard depending on individual cooling capacity, layout, etc. 2) No, they are still currently on their second components, and penalties start after your third. Going back to 1, look here at how McLaren has their intercoolers setup. Instead of using an air-to-water heat exchanger right at the exit of the compressor, like the rest of the Merc teams, they use twin air-to-air intercoolers in the sidepods (see the gold and black pipes). Seems weird that they would do this, and it may mean that they can’t run the engine the same. Or maybe they can but it makes less peak power. We don’t really know, but it seems less efficient. Something like this (not my drawing, though it is wonderful):
