  1. If you haven’t bought yet, use promo code HUNKHAN15 for 15% more off.
  2. I have been wanting to get DenoiseAI and SharpenAI, so I might have to do this! Their stuff is pretty legit from what I have seen and heard. Texas company, too.
  3. https://stratosphereparts.com/bodies/ https://stratosphereparts.com/2021-fender-player-stratocaster-strat-body-hardware-stratocaster-3ts-sunburst/ It looks like the player and American performer series are routed, but any classic repro (50s/60s) model is not. EDIT: while I was researching Foggy beat me!
  4. Unfortunately, new regulations typically widen the field, so I wouldn’t expect it to be super close next year.
  5. The entire wing is moving/shaking as he enters and exits Max’s slipstream. To me it seems like some light/reflection appears as the car moves that makes it look like the main plane of the wing (the one in the middle below the open DRS flap) is moving away from the end plate on the left of the video. This doesn’t really make sense, because the accusation by Red Bull before was that the main plane was “scratching against” the end plate. These lines show that the movement is consistent with the entire thing moving around.
  6. This fits your needs perfectly but isn’t a Gibson. https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/ENL59ADCNH--epiphone-1959-les-paul-standard-outfit-aged-dark-cherry-burst The cheapest Gibson Les Paul Studio Faded might be able to be had around that price, but those are pretty bare bones.
  7. It will actually be interesting to see if Sony sticks with E mount going forward. Since was originally designed for APS-C, its limitations mean that they cannot make use of the ultramodern lens designs with the huge rear elements like Canon RF and Nikon Z have. Now, obviously Sony makes incredible cameras and lenses. The E mount is fully mature and isn’t really missing much aside from these new exotic big yuge aperture models. If they do stick with E mount, they may not be able to keep their lens lineup quite as modern as Canikon will.
  8. I totally agree. I don’t think they ever really cared to make them smaller or lighter either, however. Canon New F-1: 895g Canon EOS-1: 890g Canon EOS-5D Mark IV: 890g Canon R5: 738g The R5 comes out to just over 5oz lighter than the 5DIV, which isn’t even a huge difference really. Then of course you get to the lenses, like you said. RF 24-70 2.8: 900g EF 24-70 2.8 II: 805g Now, the RF version does have IS, but still. The 70-200 2.8 and the super tele 100-500 are at least over half a pound lighter than their EF counterparts (plus the extra 100mm reach on the RF 100-500 over the EF 100-400). The Z mount throat diameter got a whopping 8mm increase over F mount, which accounts for a lot of that lens weight.
  9. Losail is front(tire)-limited, which suits Merc better, and Red Bull worse (Red Bull exceeds in low speed traction zones, which is what would make a circuit rear-limited). Merc does also seem to have a narrower setup window than RB, but clearly they have found something that is working well there now. So while Merc are doing great, some of it this week was Red Bull falling back a bit.
  10. Carlos was determined to have lifted. If his had been under double yellow he probably would have gotten a penalty, but avoided it this time.
  11. They are beautiful but gotdam I love the black and will be sad to see it go as well. It’s bittersweet, really. I do think the W11 is my favorite car ever.
  12. Yep. Ironically, if those other drivers get penalized, it will promote Gasly to P2!
  13. It actually got destroyed by his front wing failing.
  14. Precedent is 3 for a single yellow (which Bottas and Sainz passed) and 5 for a double (which Max passed). So, we will see. FIA doesn’t seem to like to follow precedent this year, but the steward summoning times seem to be 15 mins apart for Bottas and Sainz, and 30 for Max, which may give us a hint.
  15. Charles had a cracked chassis which explains his issues.
  16. This is more exciting than our football team……
  17. It does degrade with use more than they like, so if they think they can win with the older unit here, they can save that big one for the more power sensitive tracks coming up.
  18. Fabrega says Lewis is using the Turkey PU this weekend.
  19. Same boat, and I am pretty sure I will. Gaskin is such an enigma.
  20. Thanks a lot, y’all. Subway is a fuck of a hike. Done it twice now, but the first time was in the spring. Pro tip, do NOT do it in the spring. I have been there….7 times now (and driven thru 2 or 3 more times), and I have concluded that early November is the absolute perfect time to visit. Talked to a 65 year old down there that was on his 6th subway hike. Cool dude. I will try to use some lower res ones for here next time. I know it can kinda clog it up a bit with a lot of full res stuff.
  21. Yes, their engine division is in a separate location, in Brixworth. They started as Ilmor in the 80s and were eventually taken over completely by Daimler. They do make 100% of the power unit stuff, though. None is done by the car side.
