Texas vs iowa state - 7pm on Fox
Fuck "bleeding clock." In college football, 6-play TD drives that take 90 seconds happen ALL the time. You do not "bleed clock" in a 1-score game where each team is gonna get two or three more possessions. edit: score, score, score

Texas vs iowa state - 7pm on Fox
I’d love to hear the talk in the booth during commercials. There’s just no way they don’t see the the uncalled PI vs Mitchell in the end zone, the uncalled OPI on ISU to start this half, the uncalled two linemen 8 yards downfield on their “screen” that went for 33 yards, the uncalled hold on Murphy that kept their QB clean on the TD throw… And you look up and we’re in 4Q and ISU has 0 penalty yards. 0

ou at BYU - ESPN 11am
Yeah, this whole second half had an incompetent, Keystone cops, both-teams-trying-to-lose vibe. Looks like BYU is going to win (lose) that contest.

Week 10, 2023: Texas at Iowa State
I mean, the fact that we're coming off the worst decade in Texas football history, and yet we're THE team that lives in Iowa State's head - you know what that tells me? It tells me that the rest of this left-behind league is profoundly lacking in name-brand schools that ANYONE gives a shit about. Hell, our own conference mates don't even give a shit about playing each other, as witnessed by the abysmal TV numbers when there's no OU or Texas on the field, and instead it's just Baylor, UH, Cincinnati, KSU Iowa State, etc. See how this Iowa State guy doesn't give a shit about the rest of this also-ran teams in flyover country? See how he's going to be without a SINGLE Big 12 home game next year that he's super excited to be a part of? That's how OU and Texas have felt for the past decade.

Week 10, 2023: Texas at Iowa State
A fan of the team with players betting on their own games, a douchebag coach trying to fight fans in the parking lot, and a JAG lineman yapping (wrongly) to the media while a couple of 3-star Texas D tackles who are day 1 NFL picks - and who are about to give him a 5-star prison rape… For you to come here and lecture us about fixing our broken “culture” … Fuck off.

Coaches needs to be aware that losing to Iowa St and beating Texas Tech could still leave them out of the CCG

Texas vs tcu - 6:30pm on ABC
Yeah, we are losing the best DT tandem in football and a salty, proven linebacker behind them. Nobody can consistently run between the tackles against 2023 Texas. Also losing our best player (by a lot) in the secondary, a ton of playmakers on offense, our best TE of the past 15+ years, probably our starting QB (and possibly the backup to the portal), etc., etc. We have a little window here to get a conference championship, and we're still alive for a top-shelf bowl and maybe even more.

Texas vs tcu - 6:30pm on ABC
I'm just struck by the almost comical difference between: Calm, composed, analytical 1st-half Dvoracek who heaps praise on Texas vs Final-drive, game-on-the-line Dvoracek, "LATE HIT! LATE HIT! YOU HAVE TO CALL THAT! THAT WAS BRUTAL!" Just constant lobbying for any kind of a flag against Texas on every snap down the stretch.

Seems like we had one of those vs KSU last week... defense all just points at someone, and then a few seconds later, refs are like, "oh, okay."

*uninterested But yeah, it’s going to continue being a league with parity and likely some 2-loss champions.

How Fox News works
It's fucking crazy how truth and reality on the right are manufactured via the relentless repetition of lies. The idea that three years of data are somehow validating far-right anti-vaccine shit is INSANE, yet they repeat some version of "the vaccine is unsafe" constantly. Same thing for Mueller and his carefully documented report detailing months of high-level secretive coordination between Trump's inner circle and the Russian agents who were decidedly anti-American and delighted to undermine our democracy... And now you probably couldn't get through an evening of Fox prime time without hearing some version of "and we all know how vaccines turned out to be a scam" and/or "and we all know how Mueller turned out to be wrong about everything." And the audience nods along - so happy and self-satisfied to be so much smarter than the lame stream media sheep.
