  1. Remember when Trump had over 100 million to spend on the inauguration (roughly double what's usually spent), and tens of millions of dollars just sort of disappeared into untraceable shell corporations? Earlier this year, Trump had a billion (!!!) dollars to spend on his re-election campaign... and tens/hundreds of millions vaporized into that same ether. Now we see another 42 million from the RNC to Junior's corporation. In the month since the election, Trump has raised over 200 million (!!!!) by urging supporters to overturn this massive "fraud." We are the most banana of all the banana republics. The amount of straight-up-cash that has been diverted into offshore accounts by Trump and his insiders... it's just mind-blowing. BTW, a few weeks ago I was having a political discussion with a Trump-supporting friend, and I asked him to tell me the things Trump has done as president that he supports. His answer? "He drained the swamp."
  2. Are you serious? With a 14-point lead on the road, an already-depleted O-line that just lost another guy, and 50 seconds to kill? Herman has stepped on his dick repeatedly by trying to swing it around in situations similar to that (just before half vs OU in CCG), where the smart thing to do is go to halftime.
  3. Klatt giving a reasonable explanation for not signing Vaughn is sooooooo fucking refreshing. Every week, year after year, decade after decade... the announcers want to tell us what player on the other team "WANTED TO GO TO TEXAS!" A school can sign about 20. There are going to be good players from Ohio who didn't get to go to Ohio State. Ditto for Alabama, Clemson, LSU, etc. Sometimes beating up a team for missing out on talent... they deserve to get second-guessed (e.g. Texas going half a decade with the worst QB room in the conference... Swoopes, Case McCoy). But a lot of the time it's bullshit, like when you wonder aloud how Texas could have let Vaughn get away.
  4. Seems like 3rd and 1 ought to be wildcat with RoJo and Robinson in the backfield. Maybe a jet sweep look with Josh Moore coming across the formation. That seem WAY more dangerous than whatever dog shit we try to run.
  5. My reaction to this post is somewhere in the range between “I agree” and “You’re totally wrong.”
  6. My conservative friends are looking for a "news" source that will confirm their belief in widespread election fraud. My president is looking for an AG who will be a more active participant in putting out that propaganda. Weird world. And dangerous.
  7. It's surreal, isn't it? A seemingly drunken and uninhibited narcissist babbles about his 1960's childhood and 1970's career (while the camera shows a basketball game).
  8. Beautiful. I think their guitars are really nice. I have a Laravee 12-string that sounds glorious.
  9. And by the way, you know, when, when you're telling these little stories, here's a good idea. Have a point. It makes it so much more interesting for the listener!
  10. That was nasty
  11. "The Davidson roster has an international flavor" Walton: "Let me comment on my experience with each country you name" "Here's a Davidson player idolizing Davidson alum Steph Curry" Walton: "Let me tell you my experience with both photographs and with Steph Curry."
  12. Bill Walton sure loves to talk about Bill Walton. He's a fucking beating.
  13. You should probably watch it again. He threw it right into the ground, which was clearly his intent. Whether there's a defender wrapping up his lower body or not, that's grounding.
  14. I mean, he threw it right into the fucking ground... and no, nobody touched his arm.
  15. He had a drop and. a miscommunication with the QB in the first game of the season, and this board had a multi-page thread to bash him. Despite that, he's had a solid year. He doesn't have the slippery elusiveness of Smith or Moore, but he's a pretty solid WR who gives you something valuable -- a size mismatch just like on that last catch.
  16. gonna have to disagree with your police work there, Lou.
  17. no shit. crowd reacts refs get on mic and address the hit but we don't ever see it
  18. Props to Josh Moore for turning straight up the field and getting first down. Seems like more often than not, WR's just dance and juke and get tackled short
