  1. release the list of 157 that were missing and now not missing given where this came from and the timing, 10pm on a saturday night? release the list
  2. went to the richardson store today for superman first visit to alamo since the rona sony has destroyed the experience gone are the office chairs and long "desk table" sony has doubled the number of seats in every theater the chairs and "tray tables" only work if you are 6'9" with the wingspan of manute bol and with the change in architecture and configurationi, the full upper torso of a waiter walked in front of me 47 times during the film and why? this isn't an aa321 torture tube with a 99% load factor...... they have destroyed the experience to sell an extra 100 tickets on friday and saturday nights - they now offer no advantage over advance seating at cinemark that's 10 miles closer the menu has been gutted - i looked in the kitchen - 4pm on a saturday - ghost town the pre-show on the superman universe was extremely cool - but when that was over what happened? did the movie start at it's published show time? no - we got NINE previews that took 22 minutes cost for a water, a dr. pepper and a truffle popcorn: $26 including the mandatory 18% gratuity the tickets were $28 all-in $54 for a saturday afternoon first-run movie superman is a "big screen" movie but the enshittification of this absurd timeline just sucks to holy hell and a final note on the founders - they caught the dykwia disease of successful small business owners - they were the smartest in the room and therefore they could declare reality to be what they choose to declare it to be - the result was an operations and finance nightmare that was never replicated in any new store expansion the same way twice - they were creative people who had no clue how to run a business past the first 3 or 4 stores and they developed a cult of personality that ensured they were never challenged - and they continued to run ancient technology and refused to spend on new wiring and plumbing despite being told repeatedly that failing to do so would have consequences - then the new ceo after the buyout fired the entire IT staff and within 2 days cashflow stopped and about half were immediately hired back - but how could that decision have been taken in the first place? - when they are running on rubber bands and paperclips from the 90s?
  3. smith house fucks they have cfs as one of their rotating meat specials in addition to fried chicken
  4. everyone misses the mob we should have a standing 2-for-1 with them and we should invite the mob for a halftime guest appearance with the lhb on november 29th
  5. back in the 80s before the transpecos got trendy the evans' served up a mean cfs, mashed, corn, green beans and toast, w/ BOTH brown and cream gravy, for NINE DOLLARS the original dining room was on the southeast corner and it was spartan, nothing like what it is now
  6. when i see the word "gage" my brain renders this:
  7. 2000 was the first mack black saturday i never thought of that - the pirate architected that result maybe i don't like him as much anymore
  8. he was 9-4 v. aggy and drove them insane
  9. dude pirate was 9-4 v. aggy (at tceh + 2 games w/ klan aggy) 69.23% tceh were 28-28-1 v. aggy sans pirate the *only* time i've felt concern about what aggy might or might not do was the morning after 27-25 if aggy had hired pirate instead of rumlin they might have been a contender
  10. is there a plan for or personnel assigned to "clock management and situational awareness"??
  11. ai sez: The words "gage" and "gauge" are often used interchangeably, but "gauge" is the more common and preferred spelling, especially in American English. Both words, when used as nouns, can refer to an instrument used for measurement or a standard by which something is measured. As verbs, they both mean to measure or estimate. While "gage" can be a variant spelling of "gauge," it also has some distinct, though often obsolete, meanings related to pledges and challenges, like a glove thrown down as a challenge in a duel.
  12. The cause of the explosion has not yet been officially confirmed. However, KTLA’s Eric Spillman, speaking with sources close to the investigation, reported that deputies were in the process of moving unexploded ordnance recovered Thursday night when one device detonated. When asked by KTLA’s Frank Buckley if the detonation was accidental, L.A. County Supervisor Kathryn Barger said “all roads lead back to that.” “I think it’s important for the Sheriff’s Department, for Sheriff [Robert] Luna to get out and dispel any rumors and also provide the facts and fill in the blanks on that,” she added. “I am confident, though, that that is what the conclusion is going to be.”

  14. at the usgs gauge latlong streetview, pivoting 90 degrees and now looking northeast, the bridge over the river is 200' away..... on the 'bridge': panning 90 left, looking upstream from on top of the 'bridge', the gauge has to be somewhere up in here:
  15. thank you @heso before tackling the hunt gauge vs. mystic elevation topics, we need to run to ground some variances in the geography data for the hunt gauge itself... i was told there would be no maths confirming you have the river elevation at 1723' at the gauge - what is that data source? i'm not sure it matters but for avoidance of doubt your latlong for the gauge is 202m ne of where the usgs topo says the gauge is: and note the topo shows an elevation of 1734' - what is that elevation for? the bridge? the river? the street view at the exact latlong for the gaging station is pretty much useless: there is a lot of variance in these elevations to the point that i'm questioning all of the data from all sources
  16. where is the hunt gauge located? does it measure both the south fork and the middle fork after they merge? or just one or the other? what is the elevation of the river at that gauge?
  17. what's the elevation of the river adjacent to the bubble inn?
  18. what's the elevation of the floor of the bubble inn?
  19. absolutely true and in the case of mystic, it's true because the bubble inn was appealed out of the floodway and the floodplain to make the map fit the insurance, not fit the geology also, this was not a 500-year event it wasn't a 100-year event this same level of flooding is a 10-15 year event - did you not see the wsj recap on past floods? 1931, 1953, iirc 7 total in the past 100 years
  20. negatory do we need to screencap topo maps for you?
  21. maybe they go to south bend and shock domer maybe they take care of business when they host florida but if they are not good enough to do both, then they will lose at pig and at corndog and be 4-4 at the end of october
