  1. 100% agree on Global Ambassador. It is a place for happy hour/sunset drinks and maybe an appetizer. The food and service suck and it is horribly overpriced. However, there are lots of attractive people (women) to people watch and Camelback view is almost framed as a fake picture on the beautiful patio. I think of it as a dress up pre-dinner bar and then go have a good dinner somewhere else. Although Phoenix/Scottsdale is not a great foodie town.
  2. For a dress up night, have drinks at sunset on the patio of Thea at the Global Ambassador. Incredible views of Camelback Mountain and it is a to be seen place for sure. For breakfast go to Le Grande Orange (LGO) and order the Commuter Sandwich. Dave Portnoy also gave their pizza a 7.9.
  3. https://www.ourlads.com/ncaa-football-depth-charts/depth-chart/texas/92016 Can someone please provide the projected 2024 DT depth chart and any likely portal transfers at the position? I am worried about entering the SEC weak on the interior with Sweat, Murphy, Collins, and Carter leaving and no 4-star recruits in 2023 and 1 low 4-star in 2022 recruiting classes and no apparent targets in portal. We should be throwing all the NIL $ at Walter Nolan!
  4. I have long wished "Boom in the House" would replace "Norm and D". I think Sirois was a Top 7 personality on the Ticket (behind Craig, Gordo, Dan, Jake, Corby, and Bob). Norm had long expired and is not a good fit and was my least favorite voice at The Ticket among hosts, producers, etc. Now, I bet next in line is Monty. He will be good. I don't know his chemistry with Donnie. I hope they make it Donnie and WIP ("Work in Progress").
  5. He also played Middy and Attack. Think about that how good of an athlete he has to be if he is a Top 50 player in the country playing Attack and Middy? Attack is a position that requires a lot of quickness (typical attack is 5'9) and Middy requires a lot of speed/down hill running ability and he is listed at 6'7 225 (he is really 6'5+). He can put on a ton of muscle weight on his frame.
  6. Ethan Burke is a Super Stud 4-star Top 50 Lacrosse recruit in the country. He originally committed to Maryland to play lacrosse, de-committed and committed to play football at Michigan His dad is the Westlake Lacrosse coach. I am surprised he did not go to a D1 lacrosse/football school to play both ala Dante Trader at Maryland.
  7. It is around 175k scoville units. It is probably a 7 out of 10 in terms of hot. It is the unique, delicious taste, particularly on sandwiches that makes this sauce stand out.
  8. There is not even a close Second! One of the tragedies of Covid is that Firehouse Subs stopped having a huge assortment of hot sauces to try. Firehouse subs was one of the few places in the wild where you could try Rhino Peri Peri sauce!

No Daryl Dike, Chris Richards, or Matthew Hoppe are the disappointments. What is the point of having 33 yo Tim Ream when we are building towards 2026 World Cup?
  11. Meant UNC! Still associate Roy Williams with Kansas after all these years! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. We also just beat Kansas to Chris Beard [emoji28] as Roy Williams retired!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Am I wearing Burnt Orange Colored glasses, but CDC’s two big hires have been A+s initially! Of course there are real concerns about Sark’s drinking problems coming back. But, he is an insanely good offensive mind (maybe top 3 to 5 on planet earth), a great recruiter, and has built the best staff UT has EVER had! Chris Beard not only took Texas Tech of all places to the Final Four last tournament, but he gets his players to play some of the best pressure defense in the country, which is translatable! He is also a sneaky good recruiter and eye for talent, which should be augmented at UT, particularly with a brand spanking new arena! Chris Beard was probably considered the #1 coach in the country not at a historically top 10 program (Gonzaga has broken in as a Top 5-10 program thanks to Mark Few). Am I being overly hyperbolic in my assessment of these hires by CDC? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. The only informal part is that Raiola will want to profit share for getting above the £66mn release clause in June 2022. Herein lies the biggest risk for Man City. Raiola hates Pep Guardiola and called him a "Coward" and a "Dog" for backing out of a deal Riola thought Barcelona agreed upon to purchase Zlatlan Ibrahimovic. Pep therefore does not want to ever play the Raiola payola games. For instance, Raiola made £24mn on the Paul Pogba transfer to Man United, or more than the £22mn Man City paid for Ilkay Gundogan. Raiola has reportedly come to an "informal" agreement that if Dortmund sells Halland for more than the WRITTEN IN THE CONTRACT £66mn release clause in June 2022, Raiola and Dortmund will split 50/50 any amount over £86mn that Dortmund sells Haaland. This gives Raiola an incentive to sell Haaland to the highest bidder in the summer of 2021. That is the "informal" part of the contract. Therefore, if Dortmund sells Haaland for say £126mn in total value, then Raiola collects £20mn on the deal (or 50% of the above £40mn surplus over £86mn). Guardiola/Txiki Begiristain (the director of Man City Football operations and held the same job with Barcelona on the Ibra negoiations) will have to swallow their pride and pay Raiola his payola. But, Raiola would love nothing more than to get Man City to the altar and then stiff them by selling Haaland to PSG/Chelsea/Real Madrid/Liverpool to get his pound of flesh. But the bottom line is Raiola is a greedy bastard and he will sell to whomever makes him the most money! Lastly, Dortmund will not get a good price on Sancho bc of Covid-19 and Sancho is averaging a goal or an assist every 145 minutes in the Bundesliga vs every 69 minutes last season. Borussia Dormund would be lucky to get an offer of £85-£90mn vs their value of £120+mn pre-Covid. Again, Dortmund would also have to pay Man City 15% of any profit over the £18mn they paid City for Sancho.
  15. By definition a 2022 release clause indeed “forces their hand”. Anyone who offers Dortmund £66mn When the June 2022 window opens up forces Dortmund to sell Haaland for that price. 20+ clubs will line up to exercise that release clause. Dortmund will be in financial trouble if they don’t make Champions League next year! They will need to sell up to 7 players in the June 2921 transfer window or they could sell 1 player who they will be forced to sell anyway in 2022 for half what they could sell in 2021. That is another hand forced! Again Jadon Sancho is having an off year, this combined with Covid-19 makes it highly unlikely they can sell him for the money they would like to generate. On top of this, Man City will get paid a 15% sell-on clause for any profit above the £18mn Dortmund paid Man City for Sancho. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
